Singto walked thru the airport toward the rental car office. He was 3 days early for his dad's retirement party and wasn't ready to see the family just yet.

He loved his family, there was no question about that and he missed them since he had been away at University. However, since his big brother had refused to take over the family business 4 yrs ago, the responsibility had passed to him. Although his parents had never insisted that either of their sons take over the business, Singto had felt it was only right since their father had built the advertising agency from a basement office to the largest ad firm in the country.

Sing had always been the more responsible and considerate son, at least in his opinion, so when Zee decided not to take over the business, Sing took it upon himself to study and learn all he could to prepare for the day his father would ultimately pass the torch. That day was quickly approaching and despite his love for his family Singto was carrying some resentment though he vowed to never let it show. He wanted a little time to himself to clear his head and steel his resolve. He would do the responsible thing and become the man his family needed him to be even if his heart wasn't completely on board yet.

That's what he kept telling himself as he made his way down the coast to the beach house. Zee was too busy with the club to be there especially during the week and Sing still had all the security codes. He would call Zee when he arrived just as a heads up but he needed the solitude and peace that only the sand and waves could provide. Luckily the housekeeper had been and gone by the time he arrived so there was no sign that Mew and Gulf had been there just hours before. Walking out to the deck overlooking the ocean, Sing took a deep breath and felt his calm slowly returning.

Zee was troubled when his security cameras alerted him to movement on the property. He knew Mew and Gulf were long gone and the housekeeper had left as well so he was concerned till he saw his baby brothers signature grin flash across the monitor.

Zee was surprised to see Singto since his flight was scheduled for Thursday afternoon and it was only Tuesday. He was just about to dial his cell when he saw the lost look in his little brothers eyes. Zee knew how important carrying on the family business was to Singto. Truth be told it was the main reason he had ultimately decided not to take over when his father approached the topic 4 yrs ago.

As a child, Sing had always loved to sit in their dad's office chair and pretend to broker big negotiations. He would plan campaign slogans for all his toys and even draw up designs for the commercials. Zee had always known Singto would fit perfectly in their fathers shoes. And as the day approached he was happy that his little brother could finally fulfill his dream. But somehow as he looked through the camera at Singto's face happiness and excitement were not the emotions he saw reflected there. Sing looked anxious, maybe even a little disappointed to be stepping into this next chapter.
