The meeting had gone smoothly despite Perths near late arrival. Gulf had schmoozed and charmed the client over coffee and a brief tour of the offices while Saint and Perth finalized key points for their multimillion dollar pitch. The high-rise apartment building would feature a multi-level mall complete with restaurants and a movie complex. Several of the heavy hitters in the design industry had been vying for the project, however none could compete with the clean, crisp, contemporary designs Saint created. Perth as always, was concise and the epitome of professionalism in his presentation. The trio, with the addition of Gulf, brought charm and precision to the project. Still considered "youngsters" in the design world, even after 5 yrs in business, Perth and Saint were hungry and eager to prove their ability to handle a project of this magnitude. Later that afternoon when they received final approval that their bid had been accepted they decided a celebration was in order. "HOLY SHIT I GOTTA CALL MEW!" Gulf said running out of the office to share the news with his lover. Laughing at his exuberant reaction Perth said "I think we need to monitor that boys caffeine intake." Nodding his head in agreement while walking around the desk to give his parter a pat on the back Saint said "Yeah, but you can't really fault him for his excitement, this is major!" Returning the embrace and the sentiment Perth agreed. "I gotta call dad. He's gonna want to celebrate tonight for sure so don't make any plans." Perth said as he picked up his phone to make the call. Walking next door to his rarely used office, Saint pulled out his cell phone debating if he should share his news with Zee. Would Zee even understand the significance of them landing this job over so many other highly reputable agencies? Where they at this place yet or was he being presumptuous. He sighed and leaned back in his chair, frustrated at his own indecision. For some reason he really wanted to hear Zee congratulate him and be proud of his achievement. The sound and vibration from his phone startled him out of his internal debate.

Smiling and answering Saint said "Speak of the devil

Smiling and answering Saint said "Speak of the devil.." Chuckling Zee responded "I'm gonna choose to take that as a compliment. I just over heard Mew congratulating a very loud and giggling Gulf on a successful project. I just thought I'd see if you wanted to go out and celebrate tonight." Saint paused before responding "I would love to, but Perths dad has kind of been our benefactor of sorts for years and he will most assuredly want to make a big deal about this tonight." With a slight sound of rejection in his voice Zee began "Of course, it was presumptive of me to think..." Saint interrupted "No not at all. I really wanted to share this with you. To be honest I was sitting here holding my phone trying to decide whether or not to call when you beat me to the punch." Smiling into the phone Zee asked "Why would you hesitate?" Rolling his eyes Saint answered "I was just overthinking things as usual. I guess I just don't know if we're 'at that place' or if I'm jumping the gun." "You are most definitely NOT jumping the gun Beautiful. I want to be the person you share things with, happy or sad. How about tomorrow night? You and I can have our own private, intimate celebration at my place." Zee said hoping he didn't sound as anxious as he felt. "I like the sound of that, ALOT!" Saint said rubbing his hand unconsciously over his wrist and forearm where a slight but fading mark remaind from the ropes. "Perfect! I'll pick you up around 7:30?" Zee asked. "Sounds great, I'll call Annie tonight and get her to watch Mia." Saint confirmed. Smiling like a kid on Christmas morning Saint hung up the phone and looked up to see a grinning Perth standing in the doorway.
