Chapter 6

I woke up the next morning by my alarm playing All Time Low.
I got up and rubbed my eyes.
I went to the bathroom and literally started laughing at myself. I looked like a lion.
I'm not even joking.
I brushed my hair and let it loose, like usual. And then brushed my teeth. I put on my usual amount of make up. I don't put a lot.
A little of foundation, mascara and sometimes lipgloss.
I went down stairs and saw my mom making breakfast.
" hey mum." I said sitting down at the table.
" hey honey." She said finishing up the eggs and putting them in the table for me to eat.
I was starving so I immediately started eating.
My mom sat next to me.
" so, luke." She said smirking.
I groaned.
" for real mum. I don't like him!" I protested
" you will though." She said before heading upstairs.
I scoffed.
I finished eating and since I had 10 minutes to spare, I did the homework I didn't get to finish.
" Em!! It's 7:15, lets go!" My mum yelled comings down stairs after about 15 minutes of me doing my work. I didn't finish but whatever. Like I care.
We practically ran to the car.
My mum drove quickly due to the fact that I was gonna be late if she didn't.
I quickly got out of the car and ran to my locker when we got there.
I grabbed my science and math book and went to science class.
I guess I was early since Luke and I where the only ones there.
" Oh hey!" Luke said smiling and putting his book away.
I waved and went to sit in the back. Opposite from Luke, like everything.
I saw Luke get up and come to the seat in front of me.
" What are you doing." I asked looking up at him.
" I want to get to know you more." Luke said
" Okay. Well what do you want to know?"
" Ohh! Let's play 20 questions!" Luke suggested excitedly
I nodded
" what's your favorite color?" Luke asked me
" Blue. " I replied. I've always loved that color
" Mine too!" Luke said clapping his hands excitedly.
" Favorite movie?" I asked
" friends and nemo. oh! And I like certain scary movies." He said
" okay. When's your birthday?" He asked smiling
" August 7th" I replied
" Oh cool! Mine is July 16th!" He said laughing
" Favorite book?" I asked
" Maze runner, okay don't laugh. But I actually really like The fault in our stars. " he said laughing really hard.
I laughed even harder.
Before we knew it, the class was filled with people and the teacher walked in.
