Chapter 7

After class Luke and I walked together to our next class. Turns out, we have all the same classes. Luke was actually a really nice guy.
We went to the next class, English.
Once again, he sat in the front, I sat in the back, only this time. Something hit my face while I was writing notes.
I saw a crunched paper on my desk. I opened it and read it.

Wanna come over tonight we can watch
some movies and I can also tutor you :)
if you want to, meet me by the lockers after this class. Xo

I smiled at this. It's a kind gesture.
I pulled out my phone and hid it under the desk
To: Luke freaking hemmings
"Sounds fun:)" - Me
" I know. I'm always fun" - Luke
" pfft" - Me
" Lmao for real. I'm fun af." - Luke
" I'll have to see for myself." - Me
He turned around and smirked at me.
I laughed silently.
I put my phone back and tried to keep listening to the teacher but I couldn't help but think about him. He's like a huge mystery to me. Am I possibly starting to like him? No. I can't be, we started talking like, yesterday. Impossible. But then what is it then. Ehh, why do I care. Once again, where barely friends.

*after class*

" Emily! Emily! Wait up!" I heard Luke call me.
I turned around waiting for him to catch up.
" Pretty sure I just lost like, 10 pounds." He said breathing heavy
I laughed at him and waited for him to catch his breath.
" Your coming right?" He asked after he caught his breathe.
" Yeah. What time and what's your address?" I asked
" come at like 5, and I'll text you the address." Luke said
I nodded
" Oh and I live with my mates, but they won't bother us, they'll just go to another room." He said quickly
I nodded. Again.
" Okay let's go to lunch." He said nodding
I nodded again amused at him.
Luke's a strange guy. He sucks at first. Trust me. But it's like you have to break him to be able to see the real him. Like a puzzle, you can't see the real him until you complete the puzzle.
I really want to complete it.
Know him. Everything about him. His parents, favorite author, favorite food, favorite board game, favorite everything.
I want to complete his puzzle for some reason.
But I just haven't yet.
