Chapter 8

I told my mom i was going to Luke's.
She bothered me again.
I put on some leggings and a plain t-shirt and headed to Luke's.
Luke had sent me the address during History class, and he lived about 10 blocks away from me so I'll just walk.
I got my phone,20 dollars just incase we go anywhere, and some candy cause why not.
I left and started walking towards his house. I was walking and I heard someone crying. I looked around trying to find out where the crying was coming from.
I found a girl in the corner hugging her legs.
I walked up to her.
" what's wrong?" I asked clearly worried. I sat down next to her.
She didn't answer, just kept crying. She looked up at me with her beautiful blue eyes, sparkling with the tears.
" It's ok. You can tell me." I said hugging her softly
" Freaking Kevin in a freaking jerk and he cheated on me and- " she broke down again
I felt bad for her. Her boyfriend cheated on her. That must suck so freaking bad.
" It's ok, it's ok. Want me to walk you to your house, you know. Give you some company." I asked
I'll just tell Luke that I'm running late.
She nodded so I got up and helped her up.
" So, what's your name?"
" Ashley. What's yours?" She asked
" Emily." I said smiling at her.
She told me where she lived and we walked there.
" what's do you work as, your extremely pretty." I said looking her up and down
She giggled, " I'm a Victoria secret angel." She smiled
" That explains so much I swear." I laughed
She had beautiful eyes and blonde hair, she was tall, Plain gorgeous.
" Well, where here!" She said standing in front of an apartment
" Thank you so much, your the best." She added hugging me
I hugged her back.
" What's your number, we could keep in contact." I said pulling out my phone.
I handed her my phone and she quickly wrote her number. She pulled out her phone and texted me so that I could save her contact as well.
" Okay, see you again then." I said waving at her and walking away.
I called Luke and told him that I was running late but that I'll be there in 15 or so minutes.
I wonder what I'll do at Luke's. It's weird how in so little time, we became friends, or whatever you call this in 2 days.
Before I knew it, I was there. I knocked on the door 3 times.
He lived in a Huge house.
Someone opened the door, except, it wasn't Luke.
It was a boy with blonde/brown long curly hair. He was cute.
" Oh sorry I must have the wrong address. " I said
" Are you Emily?" The boy asked.
" Yeah."
" then your not in the wrong place. Luke is right in there" he giggled
Then I remembered Luke saying something about living with "mates".
I nodded.
He let me in. He closed the door behind us and told me to wait at the couch.
So I did.
Luke walked down the stairs about 4 minutes later. He was wearing Ripped jeans and a nirvana shirt.

" Hey Emily!" He said sitting next to me.
" hi" I said waving even though he was right next to me.
He laughed.
" what movie do you want to see first?" He asked standing up and putting 3 movies in front of me.
" Their all scary." I giggled
" I know!" He said clapping excitedly
The purge, the exorcist and the conjuring.
" let's see The conjuring first." I said getting it.
He nodded and took it from my hand placing the movie in the DVD player.
