Realization hit me like a truck really.
I mean, after literally thirty minutes, I realized what he said.
And then, even worse, I think I like him...
Well I have for a while, but maybe it's more than like.
But then, I was thinking, he could have said it in a friendly way.
Like " Bye love you."
I mean, yeah, that's what he said, but then why would he come back and say that he didn't mean to say that?
" Mum! Can you come for a bit?" I yelled
She came practically running down the stairs.
" What happened is everything okay?" She asked, a worried look on her face.
I laughed.
" Yeah. Just sit I want to, like, ask you stuff." I said motioning to the spot next to me.
" what is it?" She asked sitting down.
" Um. I- I think I like Luke..." I said looking down
I looked up and I saw my mum smirking.
" I knew it. I've been saying it since day one." She said happily.
I laughed.
" MUM also, before you go. Um. So when Luke was leaving, he was in a hurry and he was like ' bye love you' and then he came back and told me he didn't mean to say that." I said
" why are you still smirking?" I asked her after looking at her face again.
" He likes you." She said simply.
" Mum did you listen to what I said...?" I asked.
" He likes you." She repeated.
" Mum-" I started but she cut me off.
" shhhh. " she said cupping my mouth.
She got up and went upstairs.
Wow okay.
I finished the movie.
But I wasn't paying attention AT ALL.

Luke:
Hey sorry for what I said before. I wasn't thinking you know?
That hurt. A lot.
Me:
What did you say?
Might as well act like I don't know
Luke:
Oh, nevermind then.
Me:
Ok...
Luke:
But umm hey. I was wondering.
HE WAS WONDERING WHAT?!
Me:
What where you wondering?
Right after I sent it, I got a call... From him.
" Luke?" I asked through the phone,
" Yeah." He answered
" what where you wondering?" I asked
" Um- I- I was wonderingifyouwantedtogoonadatewithme." He said super quickly.
"I have no idea what you just said." I laughed
I heard him breath.
" I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me..." He said a lot slower.
holy shit.
" Are you joking or is this for real?" I asked.
" No it's for real." He laughed
" I-I would love to." I said smiling.
Mum was right.
