Chapter 18

Jimin's pov

"What a wonderful wonderful day" i though as i lay in bed next to my sleeping lover.
It was 11:30pm on October 13th.
And i had had one of the best birthdays in long time.

I couldn't believe what Taehyung had told me by the water fountain that night.
I could believe that my life had gone from rock bottom to soring in the skies.

I was happy. I felt of worth. I felt........

Loved.

*Flashback narrators pov*

Jimin had woken at around 10am on his birthday to the smell of bacon and eggs cooking.
He was rather confused since no one was usually home at this time as both Taehyung and his father left around 6 or 7 for training and pack business.

He made his way down to the kitchen only to find Taehyung standing at the stove, shirtless, only in sweatpants, cooking.

A very attractive sight.

Jimin approached his boyfriend and wrapped his arm round Taehyung's waist back hugging him.

"What're you doing here so late? You're usually at training by now."

Taehyung turned to face the other now hugging him also nuzzling his nose into his neck.

"Its your birthday, you really think I'd let my boyfriend spend it alone?"

"I've spent my last three birthdays alone, I'm used to it. You didn't need to miss your important training just for me."

Taehyung sighed and pulled away holding on to Jimin's shoulders.

"This is more important, its my baby's birthday and I want to make up for the ones that you missed and spent by yourself."

"Plus I'm already the best in training anyway."

Taehyung saying the last bit in a cocky tone making the both of them chuckle.

Taehyung raised on of his hands to cup the others jaw smiling at him adorning.

"I wanted to make this day special Minnie, for you. "

Jimin smiled and whispered a thank you before both of them lent in for a kiss, their lips meeting in the middle.

It didn't last long as the smell of burning food interrupted the moment  making Taehyung turn abruptly to the stove cursing as the food was now burnt and inedible.

"Damnit. So much for a birthday breakfast in bed." he thought as he emptied the pan into the bin.

*Time skip* (A/n sorry I'm lazy :0 )

The two spent the day baking. Kinda ironic due to the incident that morning. But Taehyung wanted to do something different than just laying on the sofa watching movies since it was Jimin's special day.

It was 6 o'clock and Taehyung had told Jimin to go get into some warm clothes as they wear going 'out'.

Where exactly, Jimin didn't know, he wasn't told anything except that where they were going was outside.

Once Jimin was ready and downstairs, at the door he was met with Taehyung holding a pic-nic basket and blanket attached to it, rolled on up on the side.

Taehyung took Jimin's hand into his, leading him.

Jimin asked repeatedly where they were going but Taehyung never answered, but, the route they were taking soon became familiar to Jimin.
