Chapter 22

Jihyun was welcomed home with open arms.

Taehyung and his father overwhelmed with joy at the return of the long lost Jihyun.

Taehyung introducing Jimin properly, Jihyun greeting him with a hug (which jimin barely returned) , asking playfully if Taehyung was treating him right among other things, being a typical older brother teasing Taehyung every time they hugged or kissed.

He seemed normal. Taehyung and his father happy acting as if he had always been there.

But Jimin, he was not so cheery.

He was suspicious.

It was suspicious.

Missing people don't just turn up.
Especially after years.

And escaping the W. T. O..... Alone.

I don't think so.

Something wasn't right.
And Jimin knew it.

The day after Jihyun had returned, that night Jimin had spoken with Taehyung.

Seriously.

It got kinda heated, and Taehyung ended up sleeping on the couch.

*Flashback*

" Don't you think it's strange? He was exactly where we where, at the same time. Taehyung, people don't just escape from the W. T. O. Especially alone. It's suspicious."
Jimin said while stood in the in the center of their bedroom, confronting Taehyung about Jihyun.

Taehyung scoffed at his words.

"Can't you just be happy for me, he's my brother who went missing! I thought he was dead Jimin! I mourned him. And now he's back, safe and I'm happy. What's so wrong with that, do you not want me to be happy!" Taehyung snapped.

The aforementioned already annoyed at Jimin's cold behaviour towards the returned. This just pushed him off the edge.

" Of course I do! but-"

" Forget it Jimin! "

With that Taehyung stormed out of the room leaving Jimin alone.

Him now feeling guilty, and sad that he'd pissed off his boyfriend to the point he shouted. They hadn't ever had a fight before.  And Jimin already hated it, fighting.

Jimin heard the voice in his head that night. But he knew he was right. So he resisted it. Ignored its taunts.

*end of flashback*

It was now 5 days after Jihyun had returned and that night, a party was being held at the village Hall in celebration.

All duties were cancelled, all were allowed to attend.

Jimin was still suspicious of Jihyun. And he had his reasons.
Jihyun would always stir at him, like he was studying his every move.

It freaked him out.

Jimin and Taehyung hadn't spoke properly since their fight.
Taehyung hadn't even began sleeping in the same bed again.

This upset Jimin. Alot.

He was Just worried for their safety. That's all. He did want to offend or upset Taehyung by his words.
