Chapter 8

Jimin was smiling, laughing.

He had almost forgotten what It felt like.

'He made me smile.'

The thing that made Jimin smile, out of everything in this world, was him.

Jimin now completely, solely trust him.

Taehyung being the first person I've decide to trust in 4 years.

It may seem silly trusting someone after them just having pushed you into a lake.
But he brought back Jimin's smile.
His laugh.
He reignited the fire inside Jimin that had been snuffed out for years.

That is why he placed his trust in Taehyung, and this new found trust in him is why Jimin going to tell him about himself, his past, and his secret.

Jimin didn't plan on letting this friendship slip through his fingers due to it being built around lies.

Taehyung offered his hand to help Jimin out, but with a yank, Jimin pulled him in too with a large splash following.
Taehyung gasps as he came up, a look of betrayal written on his face.
Suddenly, he places is hands the water and with one quick move a wave of water hits Jimin smothering him.

They were soon having a full blown water fight, fits of giggles and short screams leaving there mouths as water flew left right and center.

It was a moment full of pure...... happiness? Innocence.
It felt like they were children again, so free and without worry.
It was fun, something Jimin hadn't had in a long time.

The splashing died down and they were coming down from the high. Were just staring at each other smiles etched on our faces.

Taehyung had such a cute to Jimin, it was boxy which showed of his pearly white teeth, his eyes bright.

' So pretty.'

'I'm ready to tell him.'

Jimin held out his hand this time, leading Tae to the bank.

"Come sit with me, I want to tell you something."

They took a seat on the rocks on the bank.
Jimin had removed his shirt and sweater (hiding behind a tree of course, as well as asking Tae to face the other way) and laid them out to dry in the sun, after asking if he could borrow Taehyung's hoody, that hadn't had on when he entered the lake. He had a t-shirt underneath which wasn't as uncomfortable as a shirt and wool sweater when wet.

"so what did you want to say."
Taehyung asked

"I want to tell you about me."
"You've told me about you and your life, its about time I tell you about mine. I don't want our friendship to be built on lies."

"I'm listening, explain away. I'm all ears." Taehyung said with a small smile adjusting himself on the rock to face me.

"well let's go back to 4 years ago......."

Jimin told him, he told him everything from where he lived, his parents, his pack, to the day on which he lost it all. He told him his mistake, and what it cost Jimin.

As Jimin finished up a few tears slipped from his eyes, only to be wiped away softly by the pad of Taehyung's thumb.

Jimin looked up to him, fiddling with his fingers nervous that Taehyung would also think he was guilty and a bad person, only find Taehyung looking at him with a looked of genuine sympathy.
