Chapter 27

They arrived back at the pack territory, and Taehyung immediately rushed Jimin to the medics, Jihyun taking Yoongi and Hoseok to his father explaining what happened.

The nurses couldn't really do much to help Jimin except measure his vitals and make sure they where, and remained, stable, and then let him sleep off his exhaustion.

They did give him fluids to help him stay hydrated while he was unconscious, but then and allowed him to be taken back home by Taehyung on the 4th day, as Jimin was improving and was bound to wake soon.

Taehyung hadn't left his side the whole time, except to go to the bathroom or grab a quick something to eat.

Even when Jimin was in his bed home and safe, Taehyung would wait all day not wanting Jimin to possibly wake while he was gone and be alone.

On the 6th day, Jimin had awoken with Taehyung by his side who had attended to Jimin's every need making sure he was completely and utterly fine. He explained all that had happened while Jimin was sleeping. Jimin had been a little shocked that it had been a whole 6 days considering it had felt like he had simply fallen asleep and then woke.

He had also been shocked by the fact Yoongi had literally blown the place up after they had escaped. But he was a little less concerned once he was told it was only the 'bad people' who had been inside. Yoongi had come and explained to him also that if he hadn't, then the W. T. O will have just continued to come after him and he would never really be safe.

Jimin and Hoseok also talked. Hoseok had been spoken to by Taehyung, who had asked him to talked to Jimin about the attack from years ago, that Jimin had blamed and punished himself harshly, that he wanted Hoseok to assure Jimin further that he wasn't to blame. And Hoseok did, like he did that nigh in the cell, but the conversation was much longer, detailed and emotional, a few tears shed between the two, as they tried to move on.

Time passed and Christmas soon came along, Taehyung's birthday not long after. Both of which where celebrated collectively by the whole of the Kim family, Jimin included of course, he was part of the family now.

Jimin and Taehyung did sneak off whenever they got the chance for 'boyfriend alone time'.

They did get caught once, at Taehyung's party. They were heavily making out in the bathroom, forgetting to lock the door due to thier drunken minds only being able to focus on devouring the lips of the other.

A sober Jeongguk had drunk too much cola, and now desperately needed a pee, so had rushed to the bathroom not knocking, running straight in to find a half naked Taehyung sucking on the lips of Jimin, who was tugging and trying to un-buckle Taehyung's belt, slowly being to kneel down in front of him.

Jeongguk's eyes had blown wide and mouth hung open, he turned right around on his heals and left without speaking a word, too traumatised by the sight.

So much so that he matured so how over night and no longer flirted with any given opportunity.

It was now new years eve, and exactly 3 minutes till the clock would strike on a new day, a new year.

The whole pack gathered around a great bonfire, even the wolved from the city had joined for the celebrations.

Jimin and Taehyung where stood back from the rest of the crowd, Taehyung's arm around Jimin's waist and Jimin's head resting against Taehyung's bicep while clinging to it.

"Tae, thank you, for everything you've done for me. I caused so much hassle I want to apologise."

"Jimin-ah-" Taehyung turning his body to face Jimin, holding on to both sides of his waist pulling him close.
"-I've said this over and over, stop apologising, right from the start I've wanted to help you, I chose to help. And thank god I did because I found the love of my life. I will always be here to help you and even if you tell me to run, I will never leave you to suffer alone. I love you, and I always, always will." Taehyung squeezing Jimin tighter, leaning his forehead on Jimin's, then continueing on in a wgisper.

" Thank you, for staying. Thank you for staying strong. Thank you, for keeping your promise. "

" God I love you Kim Taehyung. "

" I love Park Jimin. "

Their lips met in the middle as the clock hit 12, fireworks lighting up the sky above, reflecting in their loving eyes as the pulled away and gazed.

The group of friends; Jeongguk, Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok and even Yoongi, all gathered round, all 7 now stood together looking up as the display of reds, greens, golds and blues sparking across the night, the stars behind twinkling and blending with sparks.

Jimin felt complete, he had a loving boyfriend, a long lost friend along with new ones, a family and... a pack.

No longer a Lone wolf, an Omega, but a Beta, and soon to be Luna.

After years of being alone with his thoughts, trapped in cell made from bars of guilt, the prison that he called his mind. He finally felt free.

He looked to his right seeing his loving, caring, supportive boyfriend whom he loved dearly. The one had been the reason he hadn't dove off the deep end, in to the deep dark depths of death. The one, who had saved him.

He looked to his left and saw his childhood friend, who had assured him that he wasn't and shouldn't be blamed, that he himself had never thought for a second that Jimin was guilty. The one who completed the guilt lifting from Jimin's shoulders.

Jimin had everything he had once lost.

Everything he needed.

He could finally let go and move on from the past. 

The scars finally faded, both mental and physical.

He was healed.

He was happy.

The pack was happy.

Taehyung was happy.

They where happy.
