Chapter 3

     Then came the horrible day where the town of mystic falls decided that vampires deserve to die... I mean they are not wrong. People like my brother deserve the death sentence, but others were turned against their will! It's not fair. Stefan was shot by a bullet, bleeding out.

                    Mystic Falls, Virginia 1864
    Stefan!" I yelled, running up to him. A bullet flew past my head.
      "Iris." He said clearly in pain. I started to cry. "Iris, you have to get out of here. Save yourself." He said to me.
      "No." I said. I was crying.
      "Iris I have to tell you something." He said to me.
      "No... no tell me later Stefan."
     "There won't be a later," he said to me. I put my hand on his face.
      "Stefan please." I said.
      "Iris I love you." He said. I bit my arm.
       "Drink." I said, plucking it to his mouth. He started to suck down my blood.
       "Stefan.. you're going to forget that I'm the one who turned you. Katherine turned you." I said.  Took a shaky breath. "You will forget how you loved me. You will move on with your life. You will find love in another woman. You will only remember us as best friends." I swallowed the sobs that want to be let out. Stefan closed his eyes. I sighed and kissed his lips. My original blood made Stefan transition really fast.
      "Iris!" He said to me, pushing me out of the way of a bullet, but it was too late. I wasn't healing immediately because It was a vervain bullet. I coughed and fell to the ground. "Iris!" He said.
        "Here drink my blood." He said to me. Oh no... he thinks I'm dying. Well he also thinks I'm human. He bites his arm pushing the warm blood into my lips. I felt the wound close, but the blood stayed, staining my white shirt.
       "You can't die on me." He said. I closed my eyes, showing the effect that I died. I slowed my breathing.
       "No." He said to me. "Iris!" He shouted. "Come on." He said. I felt a tear drop onto my face. I felt his head fall to my chest. I take a big dramatic breath. I open my eyes.
      "Iris!" He said to me. Man I wanted to kiss him. I mean he tried to save my life. I put a hand to his face.
       "Thank You Stefan." I said to him. He smiled. "Come on! We gotta find Katherine and Damon." I took his hand and sped to the house.
       "Woah." He said. I smiled.
       "I... I have no clue how I did that." I said.
       "Its a perk of being a vampire." He said. Katherine must have told him. I couldn't find Damon and Katerina. What the hell.
       "Where are they?" Stefan asked. I told him to stop talking.
       "Over there." I said, pointing to the empty hall.
       "What do you-" he asked just as Damon and Katerina ran into the hall. I heard a clatter.
      "Stay." I said to Stefan. I ran towards the noise. In the dining hall I saw my other brother Niklaus.
        "Niklaus." I said to him.
     "Finally I found you." He said to me, taking out a stake from his pocket. I clenched my hand. Stay calm. Don't show him your true power yet. "And you're here, playing with a Petrova... and meer humans! Oh he you've stopped low Ivanka." He said to me. I laughed.
       "There is nothing lower then spending eternity with you, brother." I said to him. His eyes started to glow yellow.
       "You think your so tough!" He said to me. He ran at me, flying on top of me. I placed both hands onto his head.
        "Etromus Explentius Mayroms!" I chanted out. He started to scream in pain.
       "Hybrid!" He yelled. I stood up. "Ivanka make it stop! Please!" He begged.
      "Leave me alone Niklaus." I said to him. "Leave all of us alone!"
      "Well I've already staked Elijah, Kol, and Finn."
       "You are a true monster. May your days be dark Niklaus. I am the most powerful Mikalson. Not you! Now if you wanna find yourself in a casket I'd stop trying to follow me!"
       "Make the hurt stop!" He cried. I sped away, somewhere where Niklaus could never find me. I was on the hunt to find my brothers who Klaus has staked. If I can get them on my side, then we can stand together and finally defeat Niklaus. We have to beat him at his own game. And I know there is absolutely no way that I can get Rebekah on my side... she acts as if she is Klaus' minion! I hate to say it but if I must take her down I will.
