I was standing outside the boarding house with Alaric, Stefan, and Elijah.
"The sacrifice is completed in stages as the full moon sets. First the werewolf is killed, then the vampire. Finally the doppelgänger. Once Elena dies, the curse will be broken. Klaus will become hybrid." Elijah explains to the men who know nothing about the ritual of the Sun and the Moon.
"So when do we attack?" Alaric asked, ready to kick some ass. I applaud his bravery, seeing as my brother scares the actual shit out of Elijah and I, and we are vampires.
"Elena's death will activate his dormant werewolf side. He'll be vulnerable during the transformation. That's when I come in." I said, looking at Alaric.
"And you're sure you'll survive this?" Stefan asked me.
"No. But it's worth it." I said, smiling.
"If she can deliver him to the brink of death, I'll finish the job myself." Elijah said.
"No Elijah, we do it together."
"Always." Elijah said.
"And Forever." I smiled. My phone started to ring, I pulled it out.
"Who is it?" Elijah asked me.
"Damon." I said, looking at Stefan. I answered the call, placing the phone to my ear. "Out of all the people you decided to call, why me?"
"You're not gonna like what I have to say." He said to me. I rolled my eyes looking at Stefan.
"Cut to the chase mate. The less I have to hear your voice, the better."
"You're not the person I'd like to be talking to right now, Iris!" Damon said, rather annoyed.
"Damnit Damon! Is the sacrifice happening or not?" I said, feeling my blood boil at the sound of his voice.
"It's happening. I tried to stop it, but it got...complicated."
"We're sticking with the original plan. We're meeting with my brother right now. Going over the plan." I said to Damon, completely bursting his bubble.
"He's got Jenna, Iris." Damon said. I looked at Stefan, blank faced. Alaric looked confused, while Elijah looked concerned.
"I'm sorry... what?" I asked.
"He got Kath to lure her out of the house." Damon says to me. Stefan looks at Alaric, then Elijah, then me.
"What is it? What's wrong?" Alaric asked, confused and worried.
"She's gonna be used in the vampire ritual tonight." Damon said.
"Oh no." I said.

I was sitting in the old witch house, reading the Grimoire of Emily Bennett. Bonnie was reading a different Bennett witches, and Jeremy was reading with me. Stefan was with Alaric, and my brother was reading a novel, like he always does. I have never been able to understand how my brother stays calm and collected. It's quite a miracle.
"Which one are you reading?" Bonnie asks Jeremy and I.
"Emily Bennett's, there's a section on spells she did for my ancestor, Johnathan Gilbert." Jeremy said.
"Yeah I think she had a thing for him." Bonnie said, smiling at her love interest.
"Oh she definitely did." I said, not removing my eyes from the Grimoire. Alaric came into the room, completely broken, even though he tried not to show it.
"Jeremy, I need to talk to you outside." Alaric said. Jeremy got up from my side, nodding and walking out of the house. Stefan, Eli, and I filled Bonnie in on the situation.
"Why did he take Jenna?" Bonnie asked.
"A punishment for meddling." Elijah simply said.
"Klaus was going to use Tyler and Caroline. But Damon rescued them." Stefan said.
"Then we need to go. Now. Before Jenna's been sacrificed. Iris and Elijah can kill Klaus." Bonnie said, looking out for a friend.
"Bonnie...If I use that much power, I'll be dead. We've already been through this. It's not an option. I cannot be weak, or we will never get a chance like this again." I said to her.
"Neither is letting Jenna die." Bonnie said.
"I have to agree with my sister. Niklaus will continue to kill if we attempt it now, and fail. Iris and I will both be dead, and Klaus will be the only Original left."
"We're going to offer another vampire. One that he'll want more. Me." Stefan said, making me turn around.
"Like hell we are!" I said, stopping everyone from walking. I looked to my brother, who looked down, not shocked by Stefans words. "You discussed this without me? There is no way we are giving over Stefan! I will turn Matt Donovan and give it to Klaus!"
"You're not gonna hurt Matt." Stefan said.
"And Klaus is NOT going to hurt you too!" I said to Stefan. "I won't allow it brother." Moving my focus to Elijah, I glared at him.
"We are doing it, Iris. You can't stop us." Stefan said.
"And what if you die, huh? What if you die Stefan?" I asked him.
"Then I die." He said.
"That might be your mindset, but there are people like Damon who will fall apart without you! Elena has already lost so damn much, and you're willing to throw yourself away for a fight that's not even yours? That's not saving anyone Stefan! That's not sacrificing yourself for the greater good. It's not being a hero, it's being a martyr, Stefan." I turn my focus to my brother. "You don't believe anyone innocent to die under the wrath of Klaus anymore, so why you agreed to this makes me think that mother named you wrong, Elijah. You are not honest to anyone but yourself, hiding your true identity in the shadows of your brain so nobody can see it. So I couldn't see it for a thousand years. What a brother."
"So Jenna should die? She hasn't hurt a fly." Elijah asked me.
"No. Jenna doesn't deserve to die. But Kathrine does. Use her. Or don't. I don't care anymore, because once Klaus is dead, I will be gone." I said, walking away from Bonnie, Stefan, and my brother. I blinked back the tears. I cannot imagine a life without Stefan, and I can't weaken Klaus until the ritual is complete, meaning I cannot save Stefan and kill Klaus all at the same time. I just can't, and the fact that I can not control the situation kills me, it makes my heart ache.
"What happened to always and forever?" Elijah asked me. "You just swore to it a few moments ago. Has the years made you so hard headed, that you are willing to change your mind in a blink of an eye? After things don't go your way?" Elijah asked me. I stopped walking for a second, letting the tears flow, debating if I really want to turn around and look at the group of people.
"No Elijah." I said, turning around looking at the group, my face wet with tears. "I'm walking out of always and forever because the one person I want to have forever with is planning on dying tonight, and I can't live with myself knowing I could have done something to stop it."
"How do I know this wasn't your plan all along." Bonnie said. "That this is some act between the two of you Originals to stop us from killing Klaus?" I looked at her, knowing that my mascara was messed up, and that I looked like a mess.
"What?" I asked her she sighed, looking at Elijah and I.
"I mean, Klaus is your sibling, your brother." Bonnie said to us.
"Klaus was not my only brother. We had siblings; parents. We had a family. Over the centuries, Klaus hunted them down one by one and he took them from me, from us. He scattered them across the seas where their bodies could not be found." Elijah said.
"You two want revenge?" Stefan asked.
"Sometimes revenge is the only thing that keeps me going Stefan." Elijah said. "Revenge keeps me honest. It keeps me from breaking my word." Elijah turned to me, glaring. "You, my sister, made me a pact to kill Klaus, in the name of the Mikaelson family. Don't break your word. You know how I feel about people who break their word to me."
"At the expense of the love of my life?" I asked. Elijah nodded.
"Even then."

I was sitting on the floor of the witch house, preforming a locator spell on my brother, using mine and Elijah's blood, making the connection stronger. I stopped changing my 'cryptic Latin', as Damon calls it, looking down at the map.
"The quarry." I said. "Jenna, Klaus, and Elena are at the quarry."
"And that's my call to go." Stefan said, grabbing his jacket. "But I want to talk to Iris alone before I go." I look up at him, then look at my brother who nodded for me to go on a short walk with Stefan. I got up slowly, looking at the floor, not making eye contact with him. We walked outside into the cool autumn breeze.
"I don't want our last moments to be like this, Iris." Stefan said, breaking the emotional silence that was filling the air.
"I don't want our last moments to be like this either Stefan."
"I feel like there's a 'but' in there somewhere." Stefan said. I sigh, not looking at him. I feel a light grip on my arm, shifting me to look towards the love of my life, who will be dead in hours. "Iris please talk to me. Please tell me how you feel."
"You wanna know how I feel Stefan?" I asked him after a long pause of sadness builds up in me.
"More then anything." He said. I take a deep breath, deciding that I would lay all cards on the table.
"For over eight hundred years, I've been running from a man who killed the good in my life. I've been running from a man who took everything away from me, and I finally have a chance to kill him. I have a chance to get justice for my family. But in the mean time, I met an amazing man. A man who I would sacrifice everything for, a man that I want to spend the rest of my immortal life with. And that man is willing to throw everything away, just to save one innocent life. Just to save a family that has lost so much, and I admire that. I admire everything that man stands for, hell, he inspired me to be good. To not end up like my brother. To not kill everyone who wronged me, but to risk everything to save people I've only know for a month. A man who taught me how to love, and not the fake kind. A man who makes me feel different every time he talks to me, a man that makes me feel alive. And I love him. I love that man so much, and I cannot imagine a life without him. I don't want to live a life without him, because what will I have to live for if he's gone? Why would I have any reason to come home?" I asked looking at Stefan. My vision was blurry from my own tears. "Cause to be honest Stefan, you're the only thing I want to come running home to. And if I can't come home to you, I don't want to come home. I want to run far away from it. I won't be able to live with myself if you're gone." I take a moment to gather my thoughts. I take a deep breath, wiping my tears away, only to see an emotionless Stefan. "So yes Stefan, Id rather see Jenna die then you. Call me selfish. Call it a tragic love story. Hell, call me Juliet, because if you're dead, I don't want to live." I was a mess, and Stefan took my words as if they meant nothing.
"I'm doing this for you, Iris. I'm risking it all for you. I'd rather die then see Klaus bring you any more pain. That's all he's ever done... bring you pain. But I also can't let Jenna die, and you know it. I have to go." Stefan said, turning around, starting to walk in the direction of the quarry.
"So that's it?" I asked, making him stop in his track. "I confess everything to you, and you don't receive it? You just take it and throw it all away? Treat it as a grain of sand?"
"How do you want me to take it Iris? Do you want me to tell you that I don't want to leave you? That I want to spend forever with you?" He asked, turning around, shouting at me.
"Yes! That's exactly what I want!" I said to him, matching the loudness of his shouting voice. Stefan starts walking towards me fast, but accusingly. He was walking with a purpose, and boy was he angry.
"I want to spend forever with you! I want to call you Iris Salvatore one day but I can't! I want to have kids with you, I want to grow old with you, but I can't! I can't have a life with you Iris! I want to kiss you, and call you my girlfriend, and give you the whole world but I just can't Iris!" Stefan is full on screaming in my face, confessing his love to me. I was shocked that all of that flew out of his mouth. Our faces were inches apart.
"Why can't you Stefan?" I asked, shouting back.
"Because I don't want to admit it!" Stefan said calmly, but loud. I felt all of my lovey and sad emotions fade into an immense amount of anger.
"Then leave." I said, taking Stefan by surprise.
"Fine." He said, turning around. Walking away, before stopping, turning around, and walking back to me. He didn't stop until we were inches apart, giving me the most passionate and raw kiss. The kiss lasted seconds, but it felt like time slowed all around us, leaving us breathless after he pulled away. I opened my eyes, only to be left alone. Stefan left without saying goodbye.

I was sitting in the basement of the creepy ass witch house, dreading the fact that I'm thirty minutes, the love of my life will be dead.
"Come on, Iris, we got a hybrid to kill." Damon said to me. I looked up at the brother, nodding my head. I can't throw a pity party now, I have people to save. I walked up the stairs and out of the door. Bonnie and Jeremy try to leave, but I put a spell on the house, not allowing them to leave.

I was in my position next to my brother, while Klaus fed on the doppelgänger. I couldn't see Stefan, and I know that my brother sacrificed him. I can't get emotional, I have to do this. I watch Elena's lifeless body fall to the ground. I hear my brothers bones start to break.
"It's happening!" He shouts out. Klaus is the weakest he will ever be at this moment. Damon speeds behind Klaus' witch, snapping her neck, as I do a spell, throwing Klaus through the air. This will be the biggest spell I will ever do in my life. Mom if you could ever be with me, now would be the time. I thought to myself. The magic coursing through my veins felt different. I am ten times more powerful then I have ever been, meaning my mother is with me. Nows my time to fulfill the reason my mother created me. I walked out of the woods with my brother Elijah, our hands locked together.
"Phasmatos Infero Eseri Gratas, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Victamas Veras. Phasmatos Tribum, Niha Sue Exilum, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Levam, Mina Sue Te, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Phasmatos Veras. Fes Matos Tribum, Mas Pro Tes Unum. Victas Ex Melam, Phasmatos Vanem. Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te." I finished the spell as my brothers body contorts into different positions.
"Damon get Elena out of here!" Stefans voice shouts. As much as I'd want to look over to Stefan, I can't.
"Elijah? Iris?" Klaus asked as Elijah and I walked up to him, hand in hand, proving the 'always and forever' banter we live by.
"Hello brother." Elijah said.
"I told you I'd be the death of you, Niklaus." I said. Elijah and I took our interlocked hands, plunging it into Klaus' chest.
"In the name of Kol..." Elijah starts.
"Finn."
"Rebekah."
"Ester."
"And Mikael." Elijah finishes, twisting his heart.
"I didn't bury them at sea!" Klaus said, making Elijah and I stop.
"What?" Elijah and I asked together.
"Their bodies are safe. If you kill me, you'll never find them." Klaus said.
"Don't listen to him Iris." Stefans voice rang out.
"I can take you to them. I give you my word." Klaus said.
"Our family." I said to Elijah. Elijah looked back at the gang.
"I'm so sorry." He said, speeding off with Niklaus, leaving me alone. I turn around, knowing what side I pick.
"Iris. Don't." Stefan said. "Come home with me."
"Always and Forever." I said to him, turning around, and running off with my brothers.
