I woke up with a empty bourbon bottle next to me. The sunlight, hitting my eyes. I groaned, rolling over seeing a man in my bed staring right at me.
"AH!" I yelled. I rushed to the other side of the room. I close my eyes, reopening to see Damon and his annoying ass smile. "What the hell do you think you're doing mate?!" I asked him, out of breath heart pumping from my rush of adrenaline.
        "Good morning!" Damon said.
"Could have done that differently." Stefan said, appearing from behind my dresser.
"WERE YOU TWO WATCHING ME SLEEP?!" I asked. They both laughed, giving each other looks. "I want to punch both of you! You know how creepy that is?"
"Look we were not watching you sleep, we were gonna tell you we went to the Tomb that holds Katherine. But Damon wanted to scare you awake. I obviously told him it wasn't a good idea, so I hid behind the dresser because I was scared that you would go all witch mode ya know?" Stefan asked.
"Wait wait wait. You went to Katherines tomb thing?" I asked.
"You know, for an one thousand year old vampire, your word choice is not the greatest." Damon said.
         "Love you too damie."
"Dont call me that." Damon said.
"I'll call you what I want." Stefan laughed. "Okay. So what did Katherine say?"
"Oh you know, her normal make me a deal or I won't do shit for you thing." Damon said.
"Let me guess. She wants freedom in exchange for the moonstone." I asked.
"How did you know?" Stefan asked. I laughed putting a hand on his shoulder,
"I've been dealing with Katerina Petrova for too damn long."
"It makes since." Stefan said. I gave him a smile. "We don't believe her though."
"Good." I said. "Where is Elena?"
"She's downstairs, talking with rose." Damon said.

———————————————————————————
I was sitting in a booth at the mystic grill. I was sitting in between Damon and Stefan. Bonnie and Jeremy were sitting right across from us. I've started to notice that Bonnie and Jeremy have become very close. Ah teenage love.
"I might be able to life the tomb spell long enough for you to get in there and grab moonstone from Katherine." Bonnie said.
"How?! It too you and your grams to do it last time. And we all know what happened to her." Jeremy said, locking eyes with me. "Why don't we let the all powerful original witch with all the power do it?"
"As much as I would love to save the day, the tomb spell is a Bennett Witch spell." I said.
"Meaning?" Jeremy asked. It's almost like I have to spell it out.
"The only thing I didn't like about the Bennett witches was that they make their spells so encrypted that only Bennett Witches can cast it and life it. It makes the job of the most powerful witch that's ever walked the earth so much harder." I said.
"I'm well aware of what happened. But I'm learning." Bonnie said. I love watching young witches thrive in their newly found power. I love watching them get stronger, getting smarter. "Anyway.. how will you get the stone?"
"Katherine is weak. She hasn't been feeding, but luckily we have." Stefan said.
"You're not underestimating Katherine are you?" Bonnie asked.
"Look Bon Bon. It's a plan. Is it perfect? Nope. But what plan ever is?" Damon asked. I rolled my eyes.
"Let me do it." Jeremy said quickly. We all turned to him, stunned. "I've got my ring. I'll get in, get out, no spells needed."
"You're joking right?" I asked. "He's joking right?" I asked whispering to Stefan.
"Gee, thanks, you 16-year-old child. Why didn't we think about that?" Damon said.
"I killed all of Scandinavia two months after I turned. I was 16." I said. Damon looked at me.. only if looks could kill.
"Why are you even here?" Damon asked me.
"I'm your protector, remember?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. God I love making Damon mad.
"Maybe I can help with this. Got any personal items of Katherines?" I asked. Damon looks at Stefan.

——————————————————————————
Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, Jer, and I all made it to the Salvatore Boarding house, when Damon walked into the Library, Stefan lead us to the common room.   Damon brought in a old picture of Katherine.
"This belonged to Katherine. Found it with her things after I thought she was dead, but it was hers." Damon said. I nodded. I took the picture in my hands.
"Here's another ancient spell for ya Bonnie." I said. "La candidat au somme la toxique cantus." I chanted over and over. The metal started to burn in my hands, turning to ash.
"Great so you burned metal. What's it supposed to do?" Damon asked.
"I can also burn bone. And annoying vampires." I said. Damon rolled his eyes. " I can turn the metal into ash. Blow the ashes on her, and it'll incapacitate her for a minute or two. Long enough for you to get the stone and get out."
"Well I'm gonna go get Alaric's bag of vampire killing toys." Stefan said. I gave Bonnie the ash.
"Put this in a bowl for me." She smiled at me nodding. I started to walk with Stefan.
"You know... I never got to say thank you." Stefan said. I looked at him.
"Thank you for what?" I asked him. He snaked his hand into mine.
"Betraying your family to protect mine. to protect me." Stefan said.
"We were never really much of a family." I told stefan. "I was the black sheep of the family. I didn't like the boys and the dresses like Rebekah did. I wanted to wear the lose fitting clothes, like pants. And I wanted to hunt. I wanted to help my brothers fight. Protect my family from the killers that were all around us. The things that killed my youngest brother. Klaus and Kol were mean. Used to fight me. I was helpless. I'd never leaned how to fight, so it was more like a beating. My father just let it happen, and of course my mother and Rebekah didn't do anything. They couldn't."
"What about Elijah and Finn?" Stefan asked me. I looked at him shrugging.
"Finn wasn't one to beat me. He'd call me rude and degrading names." I said sighing. "But then there was Elijah. He never judged me. He didn't hate me. He actually loved me like a brother should. He taught me how to fight. And Niklaus buried Rebekah, Finn, and Kol at sea. He's all I have left."
"Then why did you do it? Why are you stopping Elijah from killing Damon?" Stefan asked me.
        "Because Elijah made a point."
        "I don't follow." Stefan said.
"Elijah said that if he even tried to kill Damon you'd step in. And he won't hesitate to kill you too. So no. I'm not doing this for Damon."
"Then why are you doing it?" Stefan asked. Boys are blind I swear. I stopped him from walking. Making eye contact with him. I connected my lips to his for a small second. I pulled away, immediately looking down at my shoes. I gathered all my courage to make eye contact with him again.
"I did it because I've been madly in love with you since 1864."
"You've never loved again?" He asked me.
"Well, since I completely wiped your mind, keeping you safe from klaus, I had lost all hope that we could be what we were since you didn't remember. So I tried to move on. I met a man in the 80's. His name was Malachi. Malachi Parker. But I did a spell one day. And I needed his help and I ended up killing him. So there's that." Stefan and I started to pack up the weapons, we did it in complete silence. Talk about awkward.
"I wish you didn't." Stefan said. I looked up at him.
        "What?" I asked.
"I wish you didn't erase my memories." He said. Shit.
"I know. I'm sorry. I just wanted to keep you safe." Stefan stopped my talking by kissing me. It was short lived, and I was taken aback, so I didn't get to kiss him back.
"I wish you didn't erase my memories, because they were the best of my life." Stefan said to me. Walking out of the room. My lips tingled from where his were. I smiled before walking out the room.

——————————————————————————

Stefan, Bonnie, and I all stood outside the tomb while Jer went inside the tomb. I personally still think this is an awful idea. Stefan stood really close to me, snaking his hand into mine once again. I smile to myself, blushing a little.
"Don't hide it. It's attractive." Stefan whispers into my ear. I sighed laughing shyly. I heard Jeremy scream. Fuck. I ran into the Tomb and he was nowhere to be seen.
"Is that the moonstone?" Bonnie asked, grabbing the white rock on the tombs floor.
"That's the very one." I said to her.
"I hate to interrupt." Katherine said. She had blood all over her lips. "But today has been full of surprises." She pulls Jeremy up. He had blood on his neck. "Don't worry, I know that he's wearing his ring, so no matter how many times I kill him, he'll just keep coming back for more. So, I'm going to be in the back playing with my new little toy. You guys can give me a holler when the tomb spell is lifted."
"Alright Bennett witch. Let's set up for a spell." I said.
"Bonnie don't go near the tomb I'm gonna help her bring the witch stuff in." Stefan said.
"Sir yes sir." Bonnie said. I walked out of the tomb.
"You don't have to help me. I got it." I said to Stefan once we reached the car. Stefan used his super speed, pushing me against a tree.
"You know, for an original, you are not as strong as they make you out to be."
"Really?" I asked him. He smiled. I flipped him around, so now he was pinned to the tree.
"You wanna know something?" He asked, flipping me around again.
      "What's that?"
"When your eyes go purple, it's super hot." He said kissing me. I smiled, but I pushed him off of me.
"We have to save Jer." I said to him.
"You, Miss Mikealson, ruin all the fun." Stefan said.
"And you, Mr. Salvatore, have too much fun." I said to him. He smiled, grabbing candles I smiled, grabbing everything else. We walked back into the tomb.
"What took so long?" Bonnie asked. Stefan looked at me.
"It's a complex spell. I was trying to remember what all you needed." I said.
"Oh." Bonnie said. I looked at Stefan. "Good save." He mouthed. I gave him a thumbs up.
"Hey Bon." I said to her. She looked up from the Grimoire. "I know you know how to channel. Here." I said, taking off my necklace that Stefan gave me in 1864.
"You still have that?" Stefan asked me.
"I've never taken it off." I said to him. He smiled.
"You want me to channel your power?" Bonnie asked me. I nodded.
       "You're gonna need it."
"Thanks." Bonnie clutches the necklace, and starts to shout the complex Latin. I felt a rush of power. Stefan rushes beside me putting protective arms around me so I don't fall. The channeling process is draining, even for me.
"Purple eyes." Stefan whispered to me. I placed my head on Stefans shoulders.
"Ooooohhhh... something's happening." Katherine said. I rolled my eyes due to the annoying ass voice. I see Bons nose start to bleed.
"You guys gotta stop her. She's not strong enough." Jeremy said.
"Maybe she's not. But I am." Bonnies power is completely drained at this point. My fingertips are tingling, and my legs and arms become wobbly.
"Woah." Stefan said. I looked up at him.
"It's okay. I'm okay." I said. After minutes I fall to the ground.
       "You're bleeding." Stefan says.
"I'll be fine, this spell is just strong, and Bonnie is using all my magic. She isn't using hers at all. The reason she's bleeding is because my power is too strong for her."
"Then stop her! If she can't handle it." Jer said.
"Bonnie stop!" Stefan said. My vision started to go spotty. I finally feel a wave of power flood back into my body. "Iris." Stefan said.
"Bonnie." Is all I could manage to say. Stefan got up, going to Bonnie.
         "It didn't work." Bonnie said.
"Obviously! I'm still in here!" Katherine said. I tried sitting up, but I failed to do so.
"I'm not strong enough. Even with the most powerful witch in the world, I can't."
"You didn't use your magic. You drained mine. My magic can't undo the spell, but hell did it sure try." I said, rolling over so I could see her.
"That's not making me feel better."
"It's okay Bonnie." I said to her. She gave Stefan my necklace.
"Well that's a shame, cause I'm still hungry." Katherine said. She pulled jeremy up by the shirt. Stefan speeded into the tomb, throwing Jeremy out of Katherines grip.
"You're an actual idiot." I told him.
"You need to leave." Stefan said.
"No.. Bonnie and Jer need to leave. I need to sleep."
