Chapter 4

spent my days trying to find my brothers. I went back to England.. the place we were born. It took me one hundred years, but I found Elijahs casket.
   
     Crazy to think I haven't been to this spot in.. a good 900 years. This was the exact place where Elijah, Kol, Finn, Klaus, Bekah, and I turned. This is the place where my mother did a ritual, giving me all the power of the original witch. I have had power mixed with mine. Sometimes I'm too powerful for my own good.
     What am I looking for? A casket? A stone wall? Nik is smart and he wouldn't hide Elijah in plain sight. Or would he? I went to the grave yard closest to my mothers death sight. Niklaus might have actual feelings! Who knows? Maybe my brother actually has a sense of guilt. Ha! Right! I forgot.. my brother only cares for himself. I walked along the path of the graveyard. When I see a giant tomb. Mikalson. Elijah? Kol? Maybe even Finn! I opened the big stone door only to be met by a big black tomb. I open it to see black hair and a sharp jaw line. My favorite brother Elijah. Oh how I've missed his honesty.
      . Food! He needs to feed. I ru out into the street, and grab someone. He was a young man... do I feel bad risking a life for my brothers? Absolutely not.
       "Drink brother." I said, biting the persons arm, then placing the warm substance onto Elijah's mouth. Elijah drained him dry. I guess 600 years in a tomb would do that to you. I saw my brothers eyes open, revealing his chocolate brown irises. He quickly got out of his coffin and stood on the other side of the stone room, thinking I was Niklaus.
        "Elijah. It's me.. Ivie." I said to him. I always called him Eli. He always called me Ivie.
        "Ivanka?" he asked. "Do my eyes fool me or is my favorite sister here after all of these years? Oh the day. How are you my younger sister!" He asked, entrapping me into a hug.
     "Eli!" I said to him. "Oh Eli I've been looking for you for centuries."
     "How did you manage to escape from Niklaus? He's the most powerful... and crazy." He said to me. I laughed.
       "Come with me brother," I said to him. Now I was going to bring the whole street down. "Now I don't like hurting people, but I want to show you how powerful I am." I've always been over looked because I was the youngest, and because I'm a female. Kol, Finn, And Klaus have never treated me as equal, but Elijah did. Elijah taught me how to fight, how to ride a horse, and how to sharpen a sword.
        "Excromus Maraoics da kah anadne." I said I heard screams and people falling to the floor. I looked at him. I've learned that like Klaus my eyes change color when I am hungry or I use magic or there is blood around me. They glow purple.
        "Hybrid." He said to me. I mean I know what I am but why must my brothers only say that about me? Nothing else like, 'oh wait that's actually pretty neat.' Like dang guys.
         "So yes Elijah, Niklaus is not the only hybrid around here." I said to him. I smiled to my older brother.
       "It's remarkable young sister." He said to me. That's all I've ever wanted to hear from Niklaus, or any of my other brothers! Elijah always used to tell me how good I was doing, or if I accomplished something he was always the one to tell me he was proud of me. Eli is a quite soul, a kind man who was turned into a monster becasue of our mother. Some let the power get to their head, Niklaus, and they let it take over their heart. Nik wasn't always like that. Nik was a good older brother who yes was hard on us but wanted the best for his younger siblings.
      "Young sister I would like to hear about the past nine hundred years of your life." Eli said to me. I nodded. I sat in the floor.
        "Well... after fleeing England when Nik stabbed Finn, you were the first to go, so I, do young and naive, ran with Kol."
        "And how did that work out for you?" He asked me.
        "I left Kol when Klaus showed up. If I was there maybe Kol would be with us."
        "Younger sister... you can not blame yourself for leaving. You can not blame yourself for protecting yourself. In fact I would say that Kol didn't want you to get stabbed. And thankfully you didn't or I would still be in that tomb." Eli said. I nodded.
        "Yeah." I said. What should I talk about. "Well in 1864 I found myself in America. Virginia actually. A small town know as Mystic Falls."
        "And what happened in that little town."
        "What do you mean what happened... I- Bothing happened!" I said getting rather defensive. Way to cover it up.
        "Tell me." He said. I took a shaky breath. It's been around 60 years since I've seen Stefan. Who knows where he and Damon ended up.
       "Well I was invited to the Salvatore Plantation becasue I was new to the town. Mr. Salvatore is one of the founders of Mystic Falls, and he has two brothers. Damon.... and Stefan." I said slowly, almost whispering.
       "Sister did he hurt you?" He asked. "This Stefan boy?"
      "Eli let me tell my story." I said laughing.
      "Right continue." He said.

      "So when reaching the Salvatore plantation, I was greeted by Stefan and Damon. And Katerina Petrova." I said to him. His eyes widened.
        "Really? Did you kill her?" He asked me. I rolled my eyes at him.
       "No. But i did show her what I was, then I erased the fact that she knew I was a Hybrid because Niklaus didnt know at the time." Eli nodded his head, telling me to continue with my story. "I told her to lift her compulsion over Stefan. And she did."
       "And you fell in love with Stefan." Eli said to me. I looked at him.
       "I am not Rebekah!" I said to him. "I don't fall in love with every man I've ever laid eyes on."
        "Now sister. I never compared you to our lustful sister. You've never been in love."
       "Well the love didn't last long." I said to him. I looked down trying to keep my composure. Stay tough, don't show emotion.
       "Let me guess, the Salvatore broke your heart?"
       "No." I said to Eli.
      "No? Do tell my sister."
       "Well one night, the founders were out hunting vampires and Stefan got shot trying to protect me. He obviously didn't know I was a vampire but he wanted to make sure I was safe. I was so scared that he was gonna die Eli. So I Changed him. But before he died I told him to forget that he ever loved me. Forget what we were. Forget what I did to change him. That Katherine changed him. I later, after Stefan turned, got shot. Stefan 'changed' me thinking I was a human." I took a shaky breath and continued. "Well, went to go look for Katerina and Damon, but we couldn't hear, see, or find them so we ran into the house. I later found out that Damon turned. But I heard a noise outside of the Salvatore Plantation so I told Stefan to stay. I walked outside to see Niklaus. Let's just say he found out how powerful I was, and that the Salvatore brothers were off limits." I said to him.
       "You are nothing like Rebekah. You care for this man. You were in love. I can tell when you say his name. A sadness passes over you. Oh young sister, I'm so sorry that this happened. But you will never lose my love for you." He said to me. I gave Elijah a giant hug.
