"Shawn, have you seen my shoes?!?" I yelled frantically, brushing my curled hair behind my ear.

We had school today, and I wasn't allowed to miss any more. My mom had been up north with my step dad and so we're all of my sisters. They were staying there for about a week longer, and I was told strictly not to miss any more school or do anything bad, hopefully she didn't mean illegal. I had gotten up late because Shawn 'didn't wanna wake me up because I looked so cute' and now I had to rush around to try and find everything I needed for today.

"Right here, babe. Slow down, its fine if we're a little bit late," he said, walking into the room and handing me my shoes, kissing my cheek.

"If I'm late, my mom will get a call and I will be done for," I rushed, throwing my bag over my shoulder and running out the door.

My mom had left me her car, so Cam was taking us to school.

"You guys ready?" He asked, looking back at us when we were in the car.

We nodded tiredly and I leaned my head on Shawn's shoulder.

"I'm so tired," I moaned, rubbing my eyes.

"Me too, baby," he said, kissing my forehead.

When we got to school everyone stared, as usual. It was a normal day until about 4th hour, which I had with Shawn.

"Mr. Mendes, Mr. Bauer wants you down at the office. There's a call for you," Mrs. Wilson said, allowing him to leave the classroom.

I was terrified, worried, and impatient at what someone could've been calling him about.

About 5 excruciatingly long minutes, he returned to the room, grinning madly.

"What happened?" I whispered, leaning over by his desk.

"I'll tell you later, you're gonna be excited," he whispered back, smiling wildly.

I smiled back; seeing him happy was all that I'd ever really wanted.

The day dragged on, Shawn's bright smile never ceasing to amaze me. I was so lucky to have him.

After school, Cameron took us all home, Shawn still nearly bouncing in his seat from excitement.

"Shawn what are you so excited about?!?" I groaned.

"I want to wait until we get home," he said, smiling still.

I rolled my eyes impatiently, tapping my foot.

When we arrived at my house and I flung open the door, jumping out and pulling him with me.

"Okay, so what is it?!?" I yelled, excited to find out.

"I'm going on tour with Austin Mahone!" He yelled, causing my heart to stop beating momentarily.

"What?!? Oh my god that's great!! When are you leaving?" I yelled, hugging him.

"That's the thing...Em, I'm leaving next week," he said, startling me back to reality.

"W-what?" I said, my brain unwilling to comprehend what he was telling me.

"H-how long? How long will you be gone?" I asked shakily, feeling tears coming on.

"4 months," he said softly, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"O-oh, okay," I stuttered, bending over and trying to restart my aching heart.

I didn't want him to leave. I literally could not live without him. But I also couldn't ruin this for him. This was his dream, and if I wanted to be a good girlfriend/soul mate, I would put him before me. And that's what I would do.
