"Emiko Jane, listen to me," Shawn said, turning my face towards him.

He wiped some tears off my face and he looked like he was in so much pain. I knew it was because of me too.

"She's gonna be okay, and so are you. I love you, Emiko, and I hate seeing you like this. It hurts me to see you like this, baby," he said and I wrapped my arms around his neck, putting my face in his chest.

"I love you too Shawn, and I'm sorry for putting you through this," I said, sniffling.

He kissed me and pulled me into his chest, telling me that it was okay and he understood why I was so worried.

I looked at Cayla again as she lay on the couch, motionless. She didn't even look alive, and technically she wasnt.

Shawn wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my jaw line, causing me to giggle.

"She'll be okay, stop being so worried," he whispered when he saw me looking at her worriedly and I sighed, nodding.

He kissed my neck and I laughed, I'm just so ticklish.

I ran my fingers through his hair and he sighed, nuzzling my neck and tickling me again.

"You're so adorable," he said and I smiled.

"You're so cute," I said to him, kissing his nose.

"I am sexy," he scoffed and I threw my head back, laughing.

"Nooo, you're adorable," I said and he made a funny face, obviously trying to keep my mind off Cayla.

I kissed his lips lightly when I was thrown across the room against a wall.

"Okay, yeah that hurt just a bit," I coughed, sitting up after getting all the wind knocked out of me.

I looked up and saw Cayla above me, her eyes glowing a crimson color as she held her throat, looking to be in pain.

"Hey...hey C...." I said nervously, trying to get up.

Shawn's panicked expression was all I saw as he sat in a chair, tied up with ropes, and I didn't even know how he got there.

"Wait, how did you manage that? And why is he not out yet?" I asked confusedly, pointing to him as I momentarily forgot my fear.

"I don't know, something about vampire speed. And the ropes are drenched in wolfsbane, he can't get out. I don't really know where the wolfsbane came from to be completely honest," she explained, forgetting she was trying to kill me.

Shawn struggled in the ropes as Cayla advanced towards me, getting a devious smile on her face as the veins under her eyes rippled.

"Ew, that's nasty you need to get that checked out," I said, standing up.

She flashed toward me, pushing me against the wall when Shawn yelled.

"Cayla, please don't," I begged, pushing myself as close to the wall as possible.

"I'm sorry, but if I don't get blood I die," she said, not really looking sorry at all.

"AND IF YOU KILL ME I DIE SO NOBODY REALLY WINS!" I yelled, frustrated.

She smirked and put her head in my neck, Shawn's cries echoing in my head, barely competing with the sound of my own heartbeat.

"I love you Shawn," I muttered as she bit into my neck.

I screamed loudly as I felt my blood drain from my body slowly and painfully.

"Cayla! You're killing her! You're killing Emiko!" Shawn yelled and I was released from her hold, and lowered down to the ground carefully.

"Emmy?" A soft voice whispered, beginning to cry.

I heard a ripping sound and felt someone rip me out of her grip and I to their arms, and from the tingles I knew it was Shawn.

"Em-Emiko," he said softly, sobbing in the middle of my name.

"It's pronounced....awesome...." I whispered quietly, slightly smiling when I passed out from blood loss.
