Tina sat at her desk in the corner of her garage, she was painting a lighter piece, she was trying to express the feelings of the kiss she had shared with bed, and the piece was full of light bright colours. She felt that her mind was open. She'd never felt such a mixture of emotions, that one kiss had made her weak.
The paint brush moved quickly over canvases as Tina's emotions were hitting it. She was lost in her art, it had been a week since her and Bette had gone on their date and they had texted and called everyday, they were getting to know each other and Tina was finding that she was falling deeper.
She turned when she heard footsteps. She smiled at once.
"I wasn't expecting you," Tina said, grinning when she saw Bette standing in the doorway.
"I was at a loose end and thought I'd come and visit. May I come in?" Bette asked,
"Sure, please excuse the mess."
Tina felt like she had to say that, there was paint, canvases, brushes and art stuff everywhere.
"It's fine it's your work space, what you working on?"
"Erm," Tina looked down and then smiled. "It's a light piece I'm going to call it Emotional Falling." Tina said,
Bette walked over and looked at the canvases filled with colour.
"Is this how you are feeling?" Bette asked, she found herself reacting out and gently running her hand along Tina's shoulder, she just wanted to touch her and be close to her.
"Yes, it's about that kiss the other night, shit, erm." Tina stopped. She hadn't wanted to tell her that.
Bette smiled.
"Ti," Bette gently put her fingers under Tina's chin and made her look up, Bette looked deeply into Tina's hazel eyes. she could get lost in them. she watched as Tina took a deep breath like she was trying to control herself. slowly, like everything was on a standstill, she moved forward and captured Tina's lips in a slow and passionate kiss.
The kiss lasted a couple of minutes until Bette pulled back and rested her forehead against Tina's forehead.
"You know you can touch me right," Bette smiled, as Tina hadn't touched her through out the kiss.
"I've got paint on me B," Tina smiled.
Bette smiled,
"Do you want me to leave you to paint?" Bette asked,
"Erm, I don't want to be rude,"
"I know you want to paint, I selfishly wanted to kiss your lips." Bette replied.
"You drove out here for a kiss, Bette, seriously I'm not worth the gas." Tina replied
Bette looked at the woman who had taken over her thoughts. She smiled. it wasn't that Tina was innocent or anything like that, she just found herself very attracted to this woman.
"Tina, it was very worth it. I should have called and you wouldn't be working but I just wanted to see you, I'm sorry if I've overstepped the mark." Bette reached out and gently pushed a stray hair out of Tina's face.
"You haven't. tell you what give me half an hour to finish up and I'll make you some dinner."
"You don't have to do that,"
"I want too B. please," Tina smiled.
"Okay, okay, I'll wait for you."
