I took a seat inside the Salvatore mansion talking with Stefan's older brother; Damon Salvatore.
Stefan didn't mention he had a brother" I said.
"Yes well my brother doesn't like to brag unfortunately.." he said.
"Would you like something to drink?" He asked as he poured himself a rather large glass of Bourbon.
"No I'm fine-" I said as I was interrupted by the sight of Stefan.
"Clara, what are you doing here?" He asked looking at Damon who had a smirk on his face.
"Brother! I knew you emphasized Clara was beautiful but I didn't think she'd be this pretty! You have good taste in women dear brother" Damon said and I wasn't sure if he was being serious or sarcastic.
"Stefan, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to barge in, it's just at school I totally forgot to mention that there was this party today by the water hole and well I was wondering if you wanted to go... everyone's gonna be there" I said and Stefan's face softened.
"You came all the way here to ask me that?" He said.
"Well yes...." I said as I blushed noticing Damon was watching me. He seemed like he was about to puke.
"You could come too if you'd like Damon" I said trying to ease the awkwardness.
"Well isn't that lovely, thank you but no thank you. I have better plans to drown in my sorrows tonight than to party with 17 year olds..." he said as he walked away.
"Don't mind him, he's just... strange" Stefan chuckled clearly not knowing what to say at his brothers comment.
"You never mentioned you had a brother..." I said.
"Yes well I was hoping to get that all out at our date tomorrow, but I guess we can have a preview of that tonight at the party" he said smiling as he took my hand and led me out his door. We got into his car and made our way to the water hole in the forest. Once we arrived, I spotted Bonnie but as soon as I saw her, she turned the other way, I sighted.
"Hey, how about we grab a beer, we walk to the bridge and we just talk and get to know each other? " Stefan said and I nodded happily. We started walking to the bridge and the night was beautiful, all the stars were visible.
"Have you ever seen anything so pretty?" I said looking at the stars and I caught Stefan looking at me.
"I believe I have..." he said as he tucked a strand of silky black hair behind my ear and I blushed.
