We went to the cemetery after triggering the werewolf curse. Elijah was still weak from his fight with Lucien so he stayed back at the house with Rebekah. Hayley, Klaus and I met up with Freya, Davina, Kol and Marcel in the cemetery to do the spell. It was the only place that was strong enough to do the spell.
"Davina, if you can't handle it, you stop the moment you feel pain" Marcel told Davina.
"Marcel, I got this. It's the only way to save New Orleans" she said, she was quite the strong girl. I liked Davina, she was kind but she never let herself get pushed around by anybody. Freya had made a circle of salt where I would be placed inside. Finn's tomb was next to Freya and Davina was on her other side. They gave me an approving look and I stepped inside the circle.
"We were going to use Hayley for this... but the circumstances have changed. We're using my mothers spell to create vampires" Freya said and I nodded. Freya held onto Davina's hand and the other hand was on Finn's tomb. She started chanting and flames went around the circle of salt. I felt myself get smaller, it was strange. I closed my eyes and I could hear Davina's chants as the spell grew stronger. I started to feel pain, pain in my gums, in my heart most of all. It felt like I was dying. I suddenly saw Elijah running towards me. As soon as he saw me he whooshed over to where the circle was but Klaus stopped him from getting any closer.
"No! Clara..." he said and he fell to the ground. The spell was close to being done, I could feel it. Within a few seconds, Davina sounded like she was in pain too as her chants started getting louder. Marcel looked worried. Davina was sweating and her pale cheeks were red. Freya held on tighter to her hand and it signaled that the spell was almost complete. Davina collapsed onto the cement and the spell was done. The flames went down the circle of salt as I laid on the floor, seeing the world was different now. If I thought my senses were altered when I became a werewolf, it just got more intense. I could hear Davina's heart beating, the veins pumping blood. I was hungry, but this was unlike any hunger I had ever experienced. I slowly crept up onto my legs and the world was blurry. Marcel and Kol has rushed to Davina's side but she seemed to have fainted. Klaus and Elijah rushed over to me.
"I don't feel so good" I said weakly as Elijah sat next to me and pulled me onto him. He felt warm, being in his arms felt like safety. He planted a kiss on my head and he hugged me tighter into his embrace.
"I'm so sorry..." he whispered and Hayley came with a human, she was a girl probably my age and she too was compelled.
"I'm guessing this is the part where I have to feed on her to survive...?" I said as I let out a weak chuckle and Hayley gave me a sympathetic look. The girl came closer to me and Klaus held out her wrist in front of me. I could see the veins and I could hear the blood pumping, my mouth started to water and I could only wonder what it would taste like.
