I woke up the next morning happy and naked in Stefan's arms. He was still asleep and I figured I should surprise him and make some breakfast. I gently moved his arms from me and I got up. My first steps were a little hard seeing as I was a bit sore from the night before, but it drew me even closer to Stefan and I knew this love was real. I slipped on his T-shirt which was huge on me and my tiny shorts and headed downstairs. I walked into the kitchen to find Damon sitting on the counter with a giant stack of pancakes in front of him.
"Morning sunshine, how are those legs doing?" Damon asked before I even made a sound.
"How did you even know I was here?" I asked.
"Vampire senses Clara, I can smell your perfume miles away" he said and I winced at the thought that he knew what I smelled like.
"You made breakfast?" I asked and pulled Stefan's shirt down realizing I was in tiny shorts, Damon eyes fell to my legs and he licked his lips. I knew this was his personality so I simply rolled my eyes.
"Why yes I did. It only seemed natural seeing as my brother had his precious girlfriend stay the night as he popped her cherry." Damon said with a smile. Who even said that anymore?
"I'm sorry if I intruded-" I felt bad and figured maybe I wasn't giving him his space. This was his house after all.
"You didn't, I never said I didn't want you here" Damon said and I simply stared at him. I didn't understand this man. One day he wanted to kiss me, and the other he was a complete jerk. What was Damon's deal?
"erm ok" I said and made my way to the stairs trying to forget our little encounter.
"Clara?" Damon called out before I could put my foot on the stairs. I sighted at my name falling from his lips.
"Yeah?" I said and he looked at me seriously as he opened his mouth to say something but then thought about it.
"Nevermind" he said and turned around. I looked at him and then made my way upstairs. There was something about Damon, he was broken. He hid his true emotions under being a sarcastic prick, but the real him was still in there somewhere, he just needed the right person to bring out the best in him. I gently opened the door to find that Stefan wasn't in bed anymore.
"Stefan?" I called out as I walked to the bathroom to see if he was there. I found him wrapped in a towel with small droplets of water dripping down his perfectly sculpted chest.
