"Ow! Hey, I said I was sorry!" Exclaimed Corey.
Janet through a few good punches into his arms, though they were pretty weak.
"How could you! I thought we had a deal." She huffed.
He smirked as she shoved him a little.
"A Deal?" Joey piped up, clearly wanting to know what he was missing out on.
Janet crossed her arms, "Corey, here, promised me he'd back the fuck off some when it came to trying to get us together."
"Oops," Corey gave a coy grin, "But hey, you two are together, so now I won't be a bother anymore."
With a look of Janet's eyes, Corey couldn't contain his laughter, "Yeah, I'm never gonna stop."

Janet tossed and turned in her bunk. An unsteady feeling began to blossom in her gut. But it baffled her as to why.
She crawled down, stepping carefully not to wake those that were asleep, and made her way to the couch.
Joey sat lazily, eyes becoming heavy from the TV. But the soreness of his legs and arms kept him just a tad bit more awake. His attention was caught by Janet as she sauntered in, her blanket and pillow in hand.
Janet jumped slightly, "Oh, sorry, I didn't know you were in here." She whispered.
"Nah, you're fine." Joey sighed, he looked over as Janet got comfortable on the cushion next to him, "Couldn't sleep?"
Janet nodded her head, "Yeah."
The two watched TV for a while, Janet let out a yawn. And before she knew she had fallen asleep against Joey's.
Slowly, Joey moved himself from the couch. He put her pillow more comfortable underneath her head, and fixed her blanket.
Joey gave a soft smile, 'She's so perfect, why did I think otherwise? And planted a gentle kiss on her temple.
As he made his way back to his bunk, the quiet ache in his lower back remained.

Janet jolted awake at a mysterious hand on her shoulder.
Chris smiled, "Didn't mean to scare you."
She drowsily looked up at him, 'Hmm?'
"Breakfast is ready." He said before walking off.
That morning was calm and quiet, except for a few conversations here and there. That same unsettled feeling returned to Janet from last night. It acted in waves of deep intensity before mellowing out into dull butterflies.
Joey's arms were feeling great and ready for another show, but his legs still felt sore from that quiet ache that lingered in his lower back. It was completely normal to him, as it had been going on for a while, so he simply brushed it off.
Though a little stiff, Joey didn't show any signs of pain or discomfort. The only expressions that graced him was a big stupid grin as he talked to Janet.
