Maryam's pov
A boy approached us with my bag in his hand and stood at my side of the car and instead of handing me my bag like a normal person, he just stood there looking at me.
"The bag is mine" I state
"Yeah I know" he said flatly
"So? " I motion for him to give it to me
"Say thanks" he said
"I didn't ask you to bring it but thanks I guess"
"So are you going to get out of the car or not"
"Nope I layed my eggs here"
"You have a good sense of humor but that's not funny" how dare he
"Burn" I heard Saihou say
"Well you look like a unicorn threw up on your head with that hat of yours you can be seen from space" I mentally applaud myself
"I like you" he said
"Well that makes both of us because I like me too" I could go on and on. Sarcasm is really my strong suit

Now I really need to get out of this car I can't take this anymore before I murder someone. I opened the car door and this boy steps away from the car. As soon as I got out of the car he started laughing really loud. He is such a bully and he doesn't even know me.
"What's it" Saihou asked him
"Her attitude doesnt match her height, she is like a little minion acting like the rock" he mocked
"Very funny" I said sarcasm dripping from my voice.

The other guy  whose name i still didn't catch got in the car and they left me standing there alone. Just like the lucky person that I am a guy whose head seems a little too small for his body walks by and started talking to me.
"Why are you standing outside the school while your mates are inside learning" I don't know why people don't mind their business but I have to be polite. I don't want to end up cursed by a complete stranger my life is already messed up so I have to be polite.
"I'm waiting for my dad" I answered truthfully
"So do you want to come with me and I'll show you something" he winked at me I literally can't believe my ears I thought he was a concerned citizen or a very forward person not a freaking perverted male spiece.
"Nope thanks" why does the most awful things always happen to me.
"Suite yourself then sexy ass" first of all ewwww and secondly what the actual fuck.
"Gladly" I mumbled under my breath, look I'm not scared I just don't want to get kidnapped by this weird looking man.

I called my dad and he picked up after the third ring and he asked me to wait for him at the school gate. I need to go home I'm tired and I didn't study anything. My dad closes from work at 12 and he promised to come pick me up everyday. I'm sure he doesn't even know what time I close from my classes. It's not like he doesn't care he is just always busy all the time but who leaves their teenage daughter out on the street all alone by this time. Im not worried about Latif because I know he is with aunty Jai bless her soul.

I need to start studying if I want to pass my exams Saihou is a bad influence he probably doesn't care about his education or anyone in general. I think his parents are loaded and he has nothing to worry about. My dad is doing well but I want to earn everything on my own depending on other people doesn't end well.

After a whole hour of standing outside the school gate my dad finally pulls up and to say I am annoyed is an understatement. I hate waiting I would rather do whatever it is alone than wait on someone I have no patience for that for that crap. He is my dad so I dont say anything I just kept huffing and puffing the whole ride, I'm scared I might just blow right now.

Immediately the engine of the car stopped I hope out of the car nearly falling in the process. Sometimes I feel like my body and my mind don't cooperate I'm so fucking clumsy.

Saihou's pov
I'm going home once again without turning a single page but in not worried I get good grades without studying and that's my biggest flex. If the exams doesn't go as planned and I end up failing, I can take over my mother's company I have my whole life figured out.

I have to give my idiot friend Ismaila a ride because he is passing the night at my house and he won't shout up the whole ride.
"That girl is cute yunno" he starts again
"Yeah so" I answered indifferently
"If you don't like her can I have her"
"You fucking laughed at her do you think she will give you a chance" he is unbelievable
"That is my flirting skill, girls are like cats when you push them away they come back to you". I cannot believe my ears
"I know that you are a dumb person but do you even think"
"Okay that's enough" I have to put an end to this it's affecting my IQ

I still live in the main house with my mom because I don't want to leave her there all alone. My mom came to answer the door after a bunch of calls and knocks on the door she is a very heavy sleeper. She showed up wearing a nightie and this fool Ismaila is checking my mom out while she walks away.
"Why are you looking at my mom like that" i questioned one wrong answer and I am kicking him out
"I'm not checking her out I'm just surprised that old people wear nighties" what is that even suppose to mean
"What else are they suppose to wear" honestly I have never thought of that
"Umm I don't know like normal clothes"
"Can we just go to bed I don't have energy for this"
"Just think about it" why would I do that
