I call shot gun and I greeted my dad and he looked at me, he didn't say anything but I know he wants to ask if everything is okay. I just feel really bad that the only friend I have is basically calling me a whore. I feel so disappointed that he thinks so low of me but I can't go around pushing people away I have to suck it up and let it rest.

I have to go to school tomorrow so I can get my index number for my exams can't say I'm looking forward to that. When we got home I asked my dad to wake me up at 7 so I can suck it up and get it done with.

My dad literally woke me up at 8 and told me I'm going to be late just like every other day I feel like I didn't sleep a wink. I took a shower got dressed and went to Latif's room like the little prince he thinks he is, he is still sleeping. I used all the energy in me to yell his name at the top of my lungs and yank his blanket off his body. I know that was mean but that's better than sprinkling cold water on his face and I miss him a little bit. He bolted off bed and stood there starring at me like a retard.
"Go get ready, we're already late for school" I told him and left him standing in the same spot.

My dad dropped me off at school  just like the usual the school gate was closed. There is just the school prefects standing there waiting for tardy people like myself. They didn't say a word to me its is like i already know the drill. We all just stood there for thirth minutes then the gate was open and I got in cussing under my breath.

Almost all the grade 12 students are outside the principal's office I guess waiting for what I came here for. Immediately I got in people just started starring at me, it's nothing out of the ordinary at my school since people here don't know that starring is rude but there is something different about the whole starring thing. It is accompanied by a not so subtle murmuring as well. I can only catch a few phrases like
"it's her"
"I'm not surprised"
"She is such a whore"
accompanied by little laughters and I can already feel goosebumps on every inch of my skin. I looked for an empty spot to sit at alone of course and it still continued. What the fuck is going on

I sat there for five minutes constantly checking my wrist watch just to keep myself busy. Soffie and Kaddijatou the nosiest people I have ever met approached me.

These two sisters have something to say about everything and they know about everyone's business . They have ended so many relationships and got alot of people in trouble but you can't help but like them. They sat either side of me and looked at each other I'm guessing to see who speaks first and I am growing impatient
"Spit it out guys" I said because I know they have something to say
"Girl,how did you do that"
"Do what?" I asked
"You had a foursome last night don't act dumb with us because you know we know everything that happens" Kaddijatou said like it's a know fact to everyone,Is it? I can feel my heart drop to my stomach. I have heard alot of horrible things about myself but this tops the list. I have come to the conclusion that unless I leave this hell hole having a normal day is not part of the equation.
"Thanks guys I need to go so can take my index for me and text me" I asked them
"How are we suppose to do that" they asked in unison
"You are Kaddijatou and Soffie, you'll figure it out" I said to them and left the school and all these awful people in it.

I got home and I took off this awful uniform like it's burning my skin. I was laying in bed thinking of what Soffie and Kaddijatou said to me I can't believe people would go as far as making up rumors about me just to hurt me well they have another thing coming because I could careless but that doesn't mean I won't figure out who said it. I got a message and reached out for my phone and it's an unknown number
"My mom's company is hosting a charity event and you are coming with me as my date" just reading it I can tell it's Saihou no one else in my life is as demanding as he is
"Nope not gonna happen" I replied am not an escort
"Okay cool whatever" he replied you know those messages that don't deserve a reply this is one of them.

I am watching tv in the living room with Latif while he did his homework when my dad came in. My dad greeted us and he went to his room. A few minutes later he called out for me.
"We have an event at our company tonight, do you want to come with me I don't want to go alone" my dad asked
"I'm not in the mood to be around people" i replied, I don't like being around older people they are too boring and formal for my liking. I'm not in the mood for that but I can see the look of dissapointment on his face. I just left his room before he guilt traps me into going with him.

I was laying on the couch and I started thinking that if my mom was here my dad wouldn't have asked me to go with him. I feel bad for him, he has been there for me and Latif as our mom and dad the least I can do is accompany him to his boring office party. I went back to his room and asked him to wait for me.

I took a quick shower and got started on my make up, I made it as simple as I can and wore my dress that Aunty Jai got me on my birthday . This dress is bodycon so it makes my butt look bigger and it has a little slit in front with spaghetti straps. I wore my wig and high heel, grabbed my empty cross bag with just lip gloss and my phone in it and left my room to join my dad and Latif in the living room. They both wore matching navy blue suits looking dazzing
"Are you both ready" I asked already knowing the answer
"You look nice" Latif compliments
"Do you think I will leave this house looking like a hot mess" i replied we left the car. I was getting in the back seat when my dad said
"You look beautiful just like your mom" My dad says
"Don't get mushy mushy on me dad" I responded because I don't want the mood to get ruined

Saihou's pov
I sent Maryam a text asking no scratch that telling her to come with me to my mom's charity event and she declined. Who does she think she is? It's not as if I don't have anyone else to take as my date I just wanted her with me if anything she should feel flattered. I got dressed in my burgundy suit, I'm here looking fly as fuck without a date. Well good thing Iss is coming with me to make things better or worst if he doesn't shut his mouth.

I'm here sitting alone on the table I share with Iss, my mom and the girl Iss invited that I don't know her name she is the flavor of the month. I can't wait to get home and get to bed. I can't help but think of what Maryam is doing and if she will go to classes with that asshole. The waitress came to serve me some snacks with the widest smile on her face. I smile back out of courtesy and she winked at me I know I look good but chill girl damn.

I was munching on my snack when a girl walked in with a skin tight white dress that huged every inch of her skin. She walked closer and I got a glimpse of her face and it's no other than Maryam looking stunning as always but what is she doing here.
