After the laughter subsided I took the plate to the kitchen and mentally cursed myself for the disaster. This is what happens when you try to impress a man, you embarrass yourself but you know what we move I mean he is still sitting in my living room so I'll redeem myself. I went back to the living room with the ice cream and sat right next to him.

We began watching 'the jungle book' and eating ice cream just thirty minutes into the movie Saihou speaks out of the blue
"How many kids do you want?"
"Maybe like six" I answer
"Isn't that a lot?" he looks surprised
"Do you think it is?" I asked him back
"Well we can make it work" he says and looks back at the tv
"We as in me and you?" I ask him laughing
"No me and the wall" he says and we both laugh
"Stop but how many kids do you want?"
"Maybe like three or two" he says
"Well I guess we are not compatible" I say and gave him a side glance
"Stop playing with me you know I like you right" he say and I mentally 'awwwww'
"I'm just kidding" I tell him
"So you're saying you like me too?" he says eagerly holding my hand and turning his body towards me and I look at him too
"I don't know" I say I mean I have to keep a little something something to myself
"Just tell me" he says
"Well maybe a little bit" I say to him and entertwine  look him in the eyes

I can feel the tension building and his hand was already on my tigh and by this time the movie is long forgotten. Chill Maryam the fuck I kept advising myself don't look so eager. He put his hand on my cheek and started leaning into me and I was expecting a sweet and innocent little peck but boy am I surprised.

His lips met mine and it wasnt sweet or innocent  and I'm trying to kiss him back with the same pace and same excitement. He is such a good kisser and before I can savor the whole feeling he pulls away from me. One thing about me is that I don't shy away from anything I pulled his face close to mine and kissed him back and by now my whole body was turned toward him and he was leaning so close that my back was on the couch and he was hovering over me and still kissing me. My ohhhh my

This boy right here is a bad influence and I am here for all of it. Even when he pulls away to catch his breath I would raise my head up to catch his lips in a kiss. I guess I was really starved and I feel like Jezebel. We were in the middle of kissing when I heard my dad's car horns at the gate. I pushed him off me to open the gate for my dad. I scanned the living room with my eyes to see if anything is out the ordinary and ran out the door. Thank God none of us took out clothes off boy would my dad be pissed. My dad came in with Latif and Latif kept starring at me.

"Maryam" he says
"Latif" I call his name back this is how Latif and I greet each other but today there is a little eadge to it.
Latif went to give Saihou a high five and went straight to his room to change. Im hoping he doesnt come out because that kid notices everything and whatever he notices his little mouth would say.

"Saihou right?" my sad asks
"Yeah" he says in a groggy voice but he cleared his throat right after and I am just looking between them in their eyes

My dad came in and reached out his hand for a handshake and Saihou didn't get up. My dad looks confused at first but he brushed it off and extended his hand more to reach Saihou's hand. He is so rude like the least you can do is get the fuck off his couch the same one you were making out on with his daughter and give the man a handshake. My dad left the room and I just stand their looking at him.
"What the fuck was that all about? " I asked him
"This" he got up and I can see a boner peeking out from his pants and and I almost laughed out loud
"I have to go" he says and gave me the little peck I was expecting
"Stop my dad might see" I say looking down the hall way
I can't lie I am so proud of myself like I gave the boy a whole boner on our very first kiss like way to go Maryam.
Well it's more like make out but what it do what it don't.

Two hours after Saihou left my dad went to get us take outs for dinner. I was in my room bored contemplating whether or not if I should text Saihou. What if it gets weird between us? What if he regrets it? No what if he goes back to Binta? What if he realizes we are only good as friends? What if he—?. My thoughts are interrupted by my phone buzzing and its Amadou's name flashing on my screen. I was expecting to it to be Saihou but I'm happy it's Amadou.

"Hey beautiful" he said and I started feeling all mushy on the inside

Saihou's pov
I left Maryam's house and instead of going to my house to cool myself down I decided to go to Iss's house. I'm not saying I miss Iss but I haven't seen him today so I'm just checking on him. The ride there is far so I started thinking about random things to cool myself down. After a thirty minutes car ride I was finally at his house
"Boy do you know that Isha got a boyfriend?" Iss says immediately I sat down on his bed
"Isha?" I tried to ask him
"Yes Isha" he yells
"Which Isha?" I asked him
"The one I came with to the party" he says
"Ohhh okay" I say unbothered
"Only okay?" he asks
"Iss please don't disturb me please, you only met that girl last week and you told me you don't want anything serious with her so what's this all about? " I ask him
"Yeah but-" he was saying something but I interrupted him
"Let's play fifa" I tell him before he says anything and ruins my mood.

I so distracted that I forgot to reply Maryam's message for four hours so I called her but she was on another call so replied her but she didn't reply me back. After another hour I went home and after taking a shower. I called her again and this time she picked on the second ring
"You called me" she says
"Of course I did l, didn't you see it?" I asked
"If I didn't see it I wouldn't have asked you" she says rudely
"Who were you talking to?" I asked
"We are not dating and I do not owe you an explanation" she says and wow what the hell is that
"Okay" I say
"So?" she says it like a question
"I was just checking up on you" I tell her
"Okay I'll call you back okay?" she says and before I can say anything she hangs up
