Zayn's Pov:
I did what I was afraid to do. I finally opened up to Niall and told him everything. I told him all about my upbringing. About my parents toxic relationship. I told him my fears of something bad happening. I told him what I felt about him and I don't regret any of it. Part of me still has fear. It still has the worry that something could go wrong, But Niall trusts me. If Niall trusts me then I have to trust in myself. Niall's words had been echoing around my mind all morning. He told me I'm nothing like my father. In a way I now that, But we have the same blood running through our body. Growing up my worst fear was that I'd be like him when I was older. I never wanted to be like him.
I smiled lightly as I watched Niall sleep. The morning sickness hasn't been bothering him much lately so he's managing to get a decent nights sleep. I lightly ran my hands up and down his arms. When he's around I don't feel like I have this massive strain. I don't feel like I have to be something. I just feel like me. I feel like Zayn. A light knock on my bedroom door snapped me from my thoughts. Seconds later Liam popped his head around the door.
"Zayn the stuff you ordered for the baby is here and Lou- Sorry did I wake you up?" He asked, I shook my head while untangling my body from Niall's.
"No you didn't. Shh though Niall's still asleep" I said. Liam nodded his head in understanding. I stood up from the bed and pulled the duvet back over Niall's body. "I love you" I whispered before kissing his head, I then signalled for Liam to follow me out the room.
"So you gonna tell me what that was all about?" Liam asked with a smile on his face.
"Yeah. Where's Lou?" I questioned.
"Kitchen making breakfast" My eyes widened. "Don't worry he's on pancake mixing and flipping duty that's all" Liam assured me, I chuckled as we both entered the kitchen.
"Morning" Louis turned around. "Holy fuck what happened to you?" He exclaimed.
"Dad needed a job doing didn't go the way he planned" I replied before grabbing a cup and making myself some coffee. "Anyway that's not important. I need to talk to you guys" I said.
"What's up?" Louis asked while walking to the kitchen table.
"It's me and Niall" I replied, Liam smiled. "Last night we talked and were together" I informed them.
"Like together together?" Louis questioned, I nodded my head.
"I understand if you guys are worried about his and the babys safety, But believe me nobodys more worried about that then me. But I'd give my life to them two and I'll do everything in my power to protect them"
"We know you would mate" Liam said softly. "And you know already that I support this" Liam added before standing up and pulling me into a hug, I grinned before nodding my head. I then looked over at Louis.
"Lou?" I questioned.
"You know I wasn't happy about the whole pregnancy thing from the start" I nodded. "But I know what you mean to him and what he means to you. I know you love him , Whenever the two of you are together I can see it. I know you'd protect him and I know he's safe with you. That's all I've ever wanted for him. I wanted him to find happiness and to be safe with whoever he chooses to be with, He has all that with you" Louis stated.
"I'll always look after him" I assured him, Louis smiled and stood up opening his arms, I quickly walked over to him and we hugged.
"There's em actually something I need to ask you guys" I said. "From watching my dad growing up I know that this life and family life just don't go together. I want Niall and our baby as far away from the danger as possible. I'm aware that I can't watch them both twenty four seven, So I need to get them as far away from the danger as possible. So I'm gonna leave the gang" Liam and Louis eyes widened. "I'm gonna tell my dad I'm done what happens to the gang after isn't down to me. If you guys want to stay in that's your choice, But I have to do what my dad didn't. I have to put my family first. I've been thinking about this all night and if you guys say no I won't do it. Leaving the gang isn't enough assurance for me that Niall and the baby are safe. I wanna move away from here if you guys say no I won't do it. I wouldn't take him away from you without your consent. I wanna leave and go somewhere far away and I want Niall and our baby to come with me".
