"What do you mean, GONE?" I shouted, grabbing Abyss' wrists and slamming her to the wall, my hair colour dimming, my eyes becoming dull.
"Kinky~" She purred "My, My Ebby! You have changed. It seems you've finally discovered you have demon in you!"
Looking up at her face, I saw her smirk-
"You-"
"I always knew you were.. A half demon like me could sniff you out anywhere.."
"Then why didn't you tell me? I thought we were friends!"
"Oh Ebby you know I despise that word.. Please refrain from it, my love.." I felt one of her hands slither from out of my grip to my face, then on my cheek, attempting to push me closer to her, to which I slapped her hand off
"I'm not your love! I never was.. We were friends Abyss.. Just friends.."

I could practically hear her heart break.
Or crack again if it already was broken..

"You're telling me.. I found spells to make myself half angel, flew through different dimensions for you, DIED FOR YOU.." She broke into a psychotic laughter "And you don't love me?"
I dropped her wrists and took a step back- seeing her right eye's crimson fade into an empty white.
"Abyss.. I-"
"Ebby... You've been without me for years.. She's twisted your mind.. You DID love me.. She's just mind controlling you.. I swear it!"

Mind controlling me?

"You're wrong.." I mumbled, seeing her malevolent smile fade into a frown, "Wanna know how I know?"
"No." She growled, taking my hand, "come with me. I'll show you something."
I didn't have time to impose, I tried to rip my hand away but she was already flying us to an unknown destination.

Black's Pov:
It'd been what felt like hours since Abyss left me here, with Ralph, who was still trying to kill me.
"Onyx just give up already! You get tired. I don't. You're just trying to prevent the inevitable.."
I sighed "I'm not- alright?! Because you won't kill me! You wouldn't do that, we've been through too much for you to do that to me!"
He laughed "We've been through too much.. EXACTLY! YOU'VE TREATED ME LIKE YOUR TOY FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS!" He paused for a second, head twitching to the side, almost as if it were a malfunction- "I've been deviated longer than I've known you- yet whenever I'm around you, you treat me like your personal android."
"No I don't!" I yelled back, summoning my axe to try and protect myself from the deathly angel sword, Ralph rolled his eyes, slashing against my axe- then using my voice
"Ralph help me!"
"Ralph do this!"
"For me!"
"Do it!"
"Help already!"

"ENOUGH ALREADY!!" I shouted, my eyes going Black and purple smoke rising around us-
"You're doing it again! Giving me imperatives!"
"I give everyone commands! RALPH GET OVER YOURSELF!"
"That's because you have everyone wrapped around your little finger.." He looked behind me slightly, and smiled "Using your powers against everyone to your advantage.. Making people fall for you, Making people do everything for you.. You either use your powers or kill them.. Right?"

Ebony's Pov
Abyss, holding my hand, stood us in a room. A room filled with familiar purple smoke. I tried to run towards it, but she held me back. I stared long and hard enough to be able to see Black, eyes soulless, axe in hand.

"Using your powers against everyone to your advantage.. Making people fall for you, Making people do everything for you.. You either use your powers or kill them.. Right?"

Abyss walked in front of me and smiled "Am I still wrong? Or do you believe me now? Even her companion for years, states that she uses her powers for her own gain.. You heard him."
I couldn't prevent myself, I looked away from Abyss and back at Black and Ralph, still fighting.

"You don't love her.."
"STOP LYING! YOU KNOW I DO!"
"I'm not the one lying.. You only chose her over Connor because he wasn't capable of what she is.."

Then I noticed something.

As soon as Ralph had finished a statement, he looked up, straight at Abyss.
"You told me that yourself."
"Of course Ebony has more capabilities! She's more like me than Connor was."
"See! You even admit it."
"Enough."

Black growled at Ralph, throwing her axe to the floor, flames appearing at the palms of her hands.

"Heh.. Did you forget I'm not flammable anymore?"
"Course not." 

She held her hand as close to Ralph as she could, and before he could speak again an explosion came from her fingertips. An explosion that strong it forced Abyss and I to the ground. Yet, Ralph stood, the only thing changed- his eye colour. It was red. In fact.. The exact same shade as-

"Oh Ebby.." Abyss smiled at me, holding my wrists, her white eye shining "You had to keep watching.. Didn't you?"

"You- You're controlling him.." I choked out, almost laughing out of shock. But before I could shout to Black- a hand was placed over my mouth, keeping me silenced.

"KILL HER. SHE'S GETTING ON MY NERVES."

I tried to struggle against her grip but I couldn't move. I watched- tears in my eyes as Ralph forced Black to the ground, watching her eyes colour come back, her dark energy drained from the explosion.
"It seems you're my bitch now. Your life.. Your death.. It's all in my hands.."
"Ralph.. Please.. This isn't you! Wake up already!"
She tried to hold her hand up to him.. But he moved her hand and eyed up her charcoal scar from the angel's arrow
"Wouldn't it be ironic- if it were in the Exact. Same. Spot?"
I saw Black sigh, looking at Ralph with sad eyes. No attempt of struggle.
"Do it then.. Get it over with."

Abyss uncovered my mouth but still held me with her harsh grip..
"Ralph." She yelled, and he instantly stopped and looked up at her "let Ebony say a couple final words to her."

"Ebony's here?"
"She was the entire time you idiot."

"BLACK!" I shouted, trying to struggle against Abyss' grip "SHE'S CONTROLLING HIM, LOOK AT HIS EYES!"

I watched Black as she gave me a sad smile and mouthed too me
"Read my mind."
I closed my eyes, hearing her mind loudly.
