"Hey cousin."

I struggled at her grasp, trying to speak but her hand was held firmly over my mouth.
"So.. You're making your subjects come up with plans for you eh? Ebony too? What a useless sack of shit you turned out to be. Your ancestors would've killed you on spot already."
"MMM!" I wriggled around her grasp, until I brutally bit her hand "Get the fuck off me! You know I could simply call for help-"
"But you wouldn't- would you?"
I sighed "Of course not."
"Because it would hurt your pride.. Your precious pride."
I growled at her, my fists balling up between my sides.
"Poor little Black Onyx.. Always needing someone else to do the work for her.. That's how most things have gone on your rule down here right? You're that used to being superior on Earth that you forget you're average in your own family." She taunted, giving me that sick grin.
"You're wrong.." I mumbled
"But I'm not. Think about it.. You're in the same family as LUCIFER an-"
"He died."
"Does that matter?"
"His legacy.. His everything got destroyed after a human killed him." I mumbled "And you took it the worst didn't you? That's why you're so dependent to get your throne back. To make daddy proud huh?" I smirked "Don't be so pathetic. You're a half demon. Grow up."
Her demon eye darkened as she grabbed my throat, putting as much pressure as she could onto me- placing her other arm above my shoulder, keeping me in place
"Do me a favour and shut the fuck up. A slut like you shouldn't rule anyway. You're the neediest demon I've ever met in my life- now that's pathetic."
I slapped at her arms, my eyes becoming dark- but i couldn't budge her arms.

She had gotten stronger.

A lot stronger.

"Didn't expect that did you huh? Little bitch.. you'll finally get what you deserve."
My vision began to blur- yet I heard a voice that wasn't Lilith's
"LIKE FUCKING HELL SHE'LL DIE. GET OFF HER!"

Ebony..

From what I could see, I watched Ebony smash Lilith to the ground, letting me drop suddenly, to which she quickly caught me, and held me close.
"DON'T YOU DARE COME NEAR HER AGAIN!"
"And what are you gonna do about it? Weak hybrid."
"Pft. If I'm a weak hybrid then you must be extremely weak. Whatever. Not the point. God, just leave us alone. Everything was going great until you came crawling. Do you not realise people don't want you back?"
Lilith's eyes slowly returned to an almost comforting crimson "Y-yes they do! It's just-"
"Is it because you envy Black?"
"What?" Lilith looked down at me "Why would I envy her?!"
"She has everything you don't.." Ebony mumbled "Her throne, the citizens that mostly love her, friends, a lover.."
Lilith looked down to her feet, and stomped her foot "SHE'S THE REASON I DON'T HAVE MOST OF THOSE THINGS!"

I pushed Ebony's arms off me- flying up on my own "You think I'm the reason you don't have most things anymore? Think about why they were taken from you."
Lilith shook with anger, and maybe.. Sadness?
"Y-YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME! YOU KILLED HER. IN COLD BLOOD YOU KILLED HER."
I stayed silent
"THEN I COME TO EARTH, IN HOPES FOR REVENGE, YOU KILLED ME."
I sighed.
"THEN, YOU GO TO THE UNDERWORLD. AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, YOU BREAK EVERY SINGLE RULE IN OUR OLD BOOK, YET BECOME EMPRESS."
I put a hand on her shoulder "I'm sorry okay. Your girlfriend.. It was a misunderstanding I could never tell you about. I knew you wouldn't forgive me no matter what story I told you- so I just simply told you I killed her." Pausing to see her heartbroken face "You haven't moved on.. In hopes you can get her back. Right?"
Her heartbroken face soon shifted into laughter
"Of course not you fool. You're too gullible for your own good Black Onyx.. You'll be dead before you know it."
