As I flew through to my office, or the meeting room, I saw Ralph, Coyote and Wentworth sitting there all tapping their feet, in impatience.
"I'm here boyos! Now bow down to me! Jokes." I sat down at the head of the table, almost simultaneously seeing Wentworth roll his eyes.
"God even with a roll of an Empress you don't change."
"Yeah, I know, cool right?" I replied, blowing a raspberry to him.
"Where's Ebony anyway B?" He asked looking around me, almost as if she were an aura around me.
"She's getting ready?" Shrugging, I looked towards Coyote "So... You got any ideas for my Lilith Situation?"
Coyote grabbed a folder from behind him and slammed it onto the table in front of us "Of course I have- what do you take me for?"
Ralph stared at the massive pile "Seriously..?"
"Yep." He replied, having a happy smirk that sat on his face.
"Okay!" I placed my palms upon the table, "Let's get into it. Ebony will join us when it suits!"

A couple of Coyote's bad ideas later...

I felt like slamming my head on a wall. Almost all of Coyote's methods of dealing with Lilith were all speaking, which even for him- was extremely boring. Did he not remember the time we fused and fought together? Nah? Okay.
"Coy. This is ridiculous.. If I told the entirety of the underworld that to deal with my problems I'd speak to those who disagreed, they'd think I was either stupid, or crazy. Even for me, wouldn't fighting her be the better option?"
Coyote rose and walked in front of me "Do you not think? Fighting her yes, may give you a more powerful reputation but what if she's gained power? What if she's stronger than ever?"
"And.." I replied "What if she's not?"
Ebony appeared behind me, her teleportation working a lot better these days "I never thought I'd agree with you over something like this- but I think if you were to fight it would be easier."
I touched Ebony's arm quickly
Thanks. He wasn't having any of it.
No problem..
"For fucks sake, Black I'm your second in command. You need to listen to me."
"I'm gonna be 100% honest with you Coy. When did I ever listen to anyone properly-"
"This isn't the time to start this Black.." Ralph butted in, my tone slowly dropped.
"Fine- but I'm just saying, since I know her best. Talking will NOT stop her."
The room fell silent.
"God I need a break. Give me 10." I mumbled, quickly teleporting outside the castle.

Of course, people knew who I was. But somehow by the look on my face no one came up to me and or questioned me. I just walked around the streets, hands in my pockets- listening to the whispers of my public, "thats the empress!" "Black Onyx.."
and I didn't mind. I was quite happy to wave and smile at them. That was until someone grabbed my arm- whisking me away into an alley.

"Hey Cousin.."
