"I'm basically a machine again."

"What do you mean- why would I want to? So you can return to your life before!" Abyss looked in desperation to me, as if she were regretting every choice she had made.
"Because, thanks to you Abyss, I realise how badly I was truly treated."

Ralph had a smile on his face. A creepy, malevolent smile that resembled Abyss' when she was angry. His newly red scar glowed, reminding us he wasn't in his right mind.

"But you weren't." She mumbled "I only brought out the bad memories."
I looked over to Wentworth, who couldn't even look back at me he was that infuriated, then I looked to Black, who had her head on Ebony's shoulder, with a blank face. I couldn't tell what was on her mind. She looked to the floor with nothing to say- which was highly unlike her- glancing over at Ebony, she looked back at me and shrugged her other shoulder, telling me she had no idea what was wrong- when suddenly, Black stood up straight and walked up to Ralph, making him look at her.

"Do you remember nothing? How we met? How we became friends? Our adventures together? Is it all just... Gone?"

His smile disappeared as he looked into Black's eyes, almost with a hint of sympathy, and shook his head. "Not gone. Just suppressed."

"Please just tell me how I can get you back to us. I can't live without my best friend Ralph. I don't care if you were going to kill me.. It wasn't your order."

He frantically looked at Abyss, then back at Black, only when Abyss gave a small nod did he mumble "Either fix the parts that are broken, transfer my memory over to a different being, or deactivate me."

"Are your parts actually fixable?" Wentworth chimed in, his eyes still clouded with tears.
"Somewhat."
"Then I'll do it." Wentworth mumbled back "I don't care how long it takes I'll do it."
"I'll help you Went." Black put a hand on his shoulder, giving him a small smile
"Thank you..."

I was surprised that Ebony was so quiet during this. She didn't have anything to say- which was very unlike her.
"Ebony are you-"
"What are we going to do with her?" She looked at Abyss with a duality of looks, both sadness and anger.
Black sighed "I'm not sure. I'll probably take her to Lilith for now."
"So you're not going to kill her?" I asked Black, as she looked back at me with a guilty face.
"I can't. If I did it would be too hypocritical of me. I've done worse things and look at where I stand."

"I don't get it." Abyss mumbled
"What don't you get?" Ebony looked at her with a blank stare
"Why? Why wouldn't you punish me with death for this? I mean- Ralph's your-"
"Don't even say his name." Wentworth gritted his teeth, grabbing Ralph's arm "Let's just go so I can fix him."
"Alright.. You guys can go.. I'll hang back and take Abyss to Lilith." I spoke- but Black turned back around from Wentworth to me.
"You're not taking her alone."
"What?" I paused "You don't trust me?"
"It's not like I don't trust you Coy. It's that I feel you've made a somewhat connection to her. That's what I don't trust. Your judgement seems off. Plus I need to discuss matters with Lilith anyway."
"Fine." I mumbled.

Ebony's Pov
I waved to Black as I walked over to Wentworth and Ralph,
"I'll help you while Black's taking her and Coy."
"Thanks Eb.."
I held onto both of their shoulders as I teleported us back to the castle, and took them to one of the old laboratories that had been in the castles for eons (or so Black told me).
I nodded to Went as he held his finger on where Ralph's LED used to be, making him go into sleep mode, which he could only be woken from if Went were to press him there again.

"Let's get to work.. I've repaired him once before. I can do it again. This time I've even got your help." He chuckled sadly, looking at me.
"We'll fix him. He'll be back in no time!"

Black's Pov
I teleported us all to Lilith's location. I could feel her energy from miles away.
"Cousin?"
"Lilith.. Meet Abyss."

I filled her in and told her why I was bringing Abyss to her, and the events that had unfolded moments before, to which Lilith smiled to Abyss.
"You've got guts kid. But trust me- that team is a lot to break. Especially on your own." She then looked to me "She can stay with me."
"Lilith where do you even stay? You act as though you have your own castle in the underworld."
She smirked "Not a castle dear cousin, but a secret location- yes."
"Wait- before you leave with Abyss, I need to talk to you. Privately." I looked to Coyote and Abyss, who stood closely as though they'd known eachother for years. Lilith nodded and put her hand to my shoulder.
Is this efficient enough Black?

Very much so. I needed to say- Coyote seems to have an attachment to her. So don't harm her. I believe she could help us in the future. She's strong. Really strong. She could even work with us. If it's not asking too much could you possibly train her? You're a hybrid like she is and that might-

I'd love to have an apprentice.

She took her hand off my shoulder
"I'll do it- for you- but what do I get in return?"
"Forgiveness for trying to get with Ebony.. She told me. I'm not stupid."
Abyss looked up at us- mainly Lilith "You like Ebony too?"
Lilith laughed loudly, almost curling over to the floor "Lord no- I just know how strong she is. Having an arsenal like Ebony by your side- damn. She also seems immune to my seduction power."
I growled at Lilith to which she chuckled at me "Trust me Abyss- you wouldn't get a chance with her around." Pointing directly at my face, I rolled my eyes and walked over to Coyote.
"We're going. We need to help Wentworth whether you like it or not."
"Of course I want to- I just don't know if he'll let me."
I sighed "He'll get over it eventually. He gets over things differently to the others.. I'd know!" I laughed as I waved to Lilith and Abyss, then touched Coyote's shoulder and teleported us to Ebony's location, a lab in the basement of the castle.
