"Don't bother. Just go Black.. I'll transport Coyote back to the palace when he's done talking. Just leave me alone, I don't want to talk to you anymore today."
I sighed, a pained expression held onto my face
"Alright Lilith.. Please contact me if you need anything.. Or just to talk I guess."

With that, I teleported myself back to the palace alone. Not considering Coyote whatsoever, I went into my offices where I saw Ebony sitting waiting for me.
"You're back already? Well I guess you can help with the-" she paused, looking at my face "What's wrong? And where's Coyote?"
I walked over to her and placed my head on her shoulder "Just give me a minute.." I mumbled, just embracing the comforting aura that swayed around Ebony.
"I would say take as long as you need, but I- we have a lot of work to do since everything happened babe.." She chuckled, putting her arms out to me as if to hug me instead, but I hopped into her arms and made her carry me
"I didn't ask for this.. I- God dammit." She mumbled as I practically heard her facepalm in her mind, not being able to since her hands were occupied. I leant my head back and sighed happily
"This is easier than standing for sure! And for flying. None of my energy gets drained. Thank you slave!"
"Slave my ass." She mutters as she walks us over to a chair and places me in it "Come on. Let's get some work done then we can relax and talk. Okay?"
"Ughhhhhhhhhh! Fine." I whined.

She wasn't kidding about the "a lot of work" comment.. But then again with no one else around it only took us five or six hours, compared to the distractions of Coyote, Ralph and Wentworth's drama. It was mainly paperwork, signing documents, then the spreadsheets.. I was just glad it was over. Looking over to Ebony, I saw her head leaning on her hand, propped up by her elbow, half asleep.
"Kittennnnnnn..." I sat next to her running my fingers through strands of her dyed hair, hearing her groan "It's too late for this shit.."
"It's only 7pm Babe.." I rolled my eyes "You need to eat. C' mon."
I picked her up bridal style and walked her over to the kitchens. By this time most of the kitchen staff had gone home, which I definitely didn't mind, since I can cook perfectly well myself, and they deserve time with their families.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked Ebony, looking down at her sleepy face.
"Nothing I'm not hungry.."
"You haven't eaten since yesterday. You're half human, you need to eat idiot."
"Nah uh.." she held onto my shirt as she cuddled against my chest, it was hard to not just go upstairs and place her in our bed- but she seriously needed to eat something.
"Baby. Seriously. You know I love cuddles but you need to eat at least a snack."
"Fine."
I gave a small smile as I ended up just grabbing packets of biscuits at random and making her a hot chocolate.
"Wake up or I'm drinking it.." I mumbled whilst smiling, placing the drink on the counter with the biscuits (which were Oreos because they're my favourites too..)
She swiftly grabbed the mug and the biscuits and held them close to her, gathering she knew that I was planning to steal some from her. I sat down on a stool happily watching her eat when I heard footsteps. Snapping my head to the doorway, I saw a puff of blonde.
"Coyote?" I called out, to see him poke his head through the open gap.
"Hey Black." He grinned and looked to Ebony "How come she gets a hot chocolate and I don't?!"
"Because I didn't know you were back..? How was the alone time with Abyss?" I winked and elbowed him
"Idiot." He rolled his eyes "It was fine."
"Good good." I said with my back turned to him whilst I made him a hot chocolate (otherwise he'd 100% complain) and handed it to him.
"Yay!!! Black you could've been a housewife."
"I'd get bored too easily and you know that." I mumbled looking to Ebony, who was leaning on her hand again, but this time out of boredom.
"If you excuse me Coy, I have plans for tonight."
"Ew." He mumbled as he watched me pick up Ebony and teleport into our chamber.

"So then." Ebony looked up to me "What plans where you on about?"
"Depends." I grinned "I only meant sleeping obviously, but if you had other things in mind..?"
"You're stupid."
"Pft... As if.."
"You're stupid." She repeated again with a small smile.
"I'm starting to think you mean that Ebony-" 
She grabbed the back of my neck and pushed me closer, so she could kiss me
"You're my idiot."
"True that." I smiled as I placed her on the bed gently and kissed her again, my hand holding her cheek, caressing it with my thumb "You're gorgeous, you know that?"
"Says the goddess above me."
"I'm literally the opposite of a goddess but okay babe-"
"You know what I meant!!"
"Nah I don't, I'm stupid remember?"
She chuckled as she pulled the collar of my t-shirt making me kiss her again.
