Roxy swerved her mom's truck into a parking space.

She sighed loudly as she had to back out and straighten up. She heard Francesca and Amanda giggle in the back at her driving skills and she rolled her eyes.

Kylie, who was sitting in the front shook her head at Roxy. "We defo need to go car shopping tomorrow. I thought you were going to turn us over a few times."

Roxy shut off the vehicle and hopped out the car with the rest of her friends.

It was their second day and she was feeling strangely confident. She left on her sunglasses and threw her backpack over her shoulder.  Her friends took her lead and left on their sunglasses  as well. Roxy, noticing the change in herself, felt she should exude more confidence. Her three best friends had packed up and moved with her to Australia. They had made pretty good friends yesterday and she liked all her classes so far (except beginning music). She would be fine. She just needed to figure out how to violate the dress code without actually "violating" it.

Her friends chatted excitedly as they entered into the school courtyard. They made their way confidently through the crowd and towards a secluded area where Roxy set her bags down and all her friends took a seat. They had at least half an hour before school started and she didn't want them to be the first in class like they were yesterday.

She noticed Calum and his friends near one of the courtyard picnic tables talking. Calum noticed their group and intently stared at Francesca. A sexy and sly smile grew across his face as Francesca noticed his attention and shyly looked away.

Roxy smiled at the romance brewing. Francesca certaintly needed this. She looked back over at Calum's group and noticed Luke staring her! Her heartbeat quickened and her chest rose and fell quickly, as Luke did not look away when she noticed him. He eventually smiled at her and waved.

She waved back and looked down at her shoes.

"Girls!"

The girls turned around to see Gordy, Brian, and Matty approaching them. Roxy's face broke into a smile at them. She remembered the good time they had at lunch with them. Wakeboarding probaly wouldn't be so intimidating if they were around.

Matty comfortably took his seat next to Francesca and placed his arm around her.

"Let's see if your boyfriend comes over now", Matty whispered into Francesca's ear, glancing back Calum who was staring again with narrowed eyes.

Francesca giggled and punched Matty in the arm. "We're friends!"

"I heard you all coming to soccer practice today", Gordy said, his Aussie accent dragging the today part. He was seated next to Kylie who looked up from her phone and said, "Sure are. You're on the team right?"

Gordy laughed. "Yeah we'll be playing. But just so know you know, only girlfriends get invited to watch soccer practice." He looked intently at Francesca with a small smirk.

Francesca let out a nervous laugh. Matty pulled her in closer and looked over at Calum, who was making his way toward them, with Luke, Michael, and a few other unknown boys in tow.

Matty leaned over and whispered in her ear, " Here he comes. Told you he likes you." With that, he let her go and stood up to face Calum who stopped in front of him.

"Calum, baby!", he said playfully hugging him.

"Fuck off Matty", Calum said laughing and pushing Matty off of him. This resulted in a play fight, with all the boys egging them on.

Roxy definitely knew why Trevor the tour guide/ curriculum coordinator had called them "rowdy".

The "fight" ended when Calum swiped Matty's legs from underneath him, causing Matty to land flat on his back in front of Francesca. He looked over at her and winked, before groaning and rolling over.
