The ground began to rumble, and then I hear it, the train was coming.
I sit up off of the rock and get out my pistol from my bag before putting it on, when Thomas gave his signal my job was to protect Newt as he worked on the train cart, but for now I had to wait.
A couple of minutes pass and I begin to hear the train come to a stop, and then a whistle. I run to my spot and see everyone else do the same. Newt crouches down behind me and I hold out my pistol, "looking good babe!" he says over the loud machinery, "you too babe!" I say back.
I watch the other half of the train that was ahead of us, and soon WICKED guards run out.
"Get ready Y/n!" Thomas yells from the top of the train car, "always am!" I yell back tightening the grip on my pistol.
When the guards get close enough I begin to shoot, a couple of them go down but there was still more to go. "Newt how you doing?" Thomas yells from up top,
"don't rush me!" Newt yells back.
I keep shooting, doing my best to take them down...when suddenly they all stop. I smirk, keeping my gun up, but little did they know that the berg flying above us...was ours.
I look behind me to see Newt climbing up the train cart, and I follow after him. The hatch on the berg opens up to reveal our allies, and they lower down a hook for us.
But that's when the guards figured out what was going on, Vince begins to shoot at them while Thomas works his way up the cart...but I let out a shrilling scream.
I got shot, I stumble back and eventually fall of the top of the cart, but luckily grab onto something. "Y/n!" Newt says, looking at me from where he was attaching the hook. I look to the guards and see them closing in quickly, I'm gonna die.
Except I feel someone grab my hand, I look up and see Newt...wait what? I look to the hook and see that Thomas has taken a hold of it, "come on baby" he says pulling me up, I use the rest of my strength to bring myself up.
I then get pulled to the middle of the cart where the hook was, and I begin to feel really dizzy. "Newt?" I say looking up, "yes! Yes it's me sweetheart."
I realized that I was in his lap and put my hand on his cheek, but then I begin to see black dots cover my vision, and I begin to feel extremely hot despite the wind blowing on my face.
The last thing I hear before I black out is: "No...no Y/n stay with me! I need you!"
