A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for not updating this book a lot, school just started and I've been focusing more on my "Finn Wolfhard x Reader" book.
Anyway, this is like a modern day one shot, therefore it involves Covid-19, enjoy!
"Babe! Have you seen my mask?" Newt yells as he comes down the stairs.
It's been ten years since W.I.C.K.E.D. was taken down.
Teresa was saved, Newt was saved, and now everyone is living their happily ever after.
"Oh you mean this mask?" Y/n asks, and Newt looks over to his wife, who was holding his mask.
"Yes love, that mask. Tommy and I have a meeting today, I need it."
Newt crosses the room to receive his mask, but Y/n moves out of the way last minute.
"Love.." he says smiling, "I'm not playing, I need it."
Y/n puts her hands behind her back, hiding the mask. "Well come get it..."
Newt slowly moves towards his wife, a grin plastered on his face.
But last minute, Y/n takes off running. It takes Newt a minute to realize what was happening, but he then follows his wife around their house.
After a couple minutes of running, laughing, and almost falling.
Newt finally catches Y/n in his arms, both of them burst out in laughter.
"Okay, okay! You win!" Y/n says out of breath, Newt smiles and kisses her cheek.
"Alright love, when I get home, we can spend the entire day together!" Newt says.
Y/n's eyes widen, "the entire day?" Newt nods.
She then grabs his face and passionately kisses him. "Okay babe, see you later!"
Newt stands there for a second, expecting more, but he assumed that he was getting more later.
He then makes his way to the front door, but stops before he opens it. "Love you Y/n!"
Newt doesn't hear a response, and begins to get worried.
But then out of nowhere, her lips crash onto his.
"Love you too Newtie!" She says as she pulls away.
Newt smiles at her, "I swear love..you're like a ninja!" She laughs, "I learn from the best!"
After one more kiss, they say their goodbyes, and Newt is off to work.
