the theme song for the first part of this chapter is who by lauv ft. bts.

typing away furiously at his computer, jungkook waited for lunch. specifically, he waited for yoongi to barge into his office and hand him some food, either brought in from the older's kitchen or from the restaurants near the office building.

usually the pair would eat lunch together, talk about everything, maybe watch the older quickly get in a smoke before their boss could catch them, and then go back to their boring jobs. it was a fun little system that the boys developed when they first started working.

currently jungkook was craving some lamb skewers and he knew how much yoongi loved the spicy things. so he fished around for his phone that was stuck in the tight pockets of his pants but he was interrupted by his desk phone ringing, his free hand pressed the speakerphone button.

"hello"? jungkook's hands were still trying to pull the thin device from his pants, cursing himself for not buying a new pair after his mass muscle gain a couple of years ago. nothing fit in his pockets anymore.

"hi mr. jeon, jae's mother is currently waiting in the reception area, can i send her up to you "? it was the receptionist on his floor. jungkook loudly groaned without realizing that the poor lady  could hear him.

what does she want?

"..um and she wanted me to tell you that she brought lamb skewers for you and mr. min", the younger's ears perked up at the mention of lamb skewers, jisoo still knew his tastes pretty well.

"yeah, let her in. thank you", jungkook pressed the end call button and let out a soft sigh. he didn't know what jisoo was doing here, she never visited him at work, ever. it was in her least favorite of seoul where all of the buildings were office buildings and everything was one color.

"why the fuck is jisoo coming here"? yoongi barged in, an annoyed pout on his face. the younger shrugged, getting up from his desk chair and sitting on the couch right next to yoongi that was placed near the door.

"i'm pretty sure she's never set foot in this building", he laughed. even when jungkook worked at a fast food restaurant while in college, jisoo never bothered to visit him. this was very uncommon of her to do.

"hi boys", she sang as she waltzed in, setting a plastic bag down and grabbing one take out box, " i got your favorites". with a smile on her face, jisoo handed both boys the mouth watering boxes of food, probably expecting them to jump up and praise her name.

"why"? yoongi deadpanned. his soft features were hardening in apprehension and it made the girl roll her eyes. jisoo placed the boxes on their laps before sitting down on the nearest chair.

"is there something wrong with visiting you guys at work"? jisoo took out a box of salad and stabbed her fork into it, motioning for the two very confused males in front of her to do the same.

"yes, i'm thinking you put cyanide in these", yoongi muttered. his pale hand lifted the box and examined the delicious looking food. it smelt great and there was no sign of cyanide or any poison.

"comedy was never your thing yoonie", she sarcastically smiled at the older who cringed that nickname, "but, i just wanted to talk to jungkookie". hearing that, yoongi shot up out of his chair and walked out of the office, knowing exactly what was going to happen. jungkook wished he could join him.

"um.. what did you want to talk about"? jungkook grabbed a skewer, pushing off the nasty bell peppers, and biting into the slightly chewy meat. he almost let out a moan at the spicy sauce that coated his taste buds.
