everything had fallen into place.

after dropping jaewoo off at school and once jungkook left for work, taehyung got to work setting up for the party.

he knew jungkook was a simple guy, he didn't like a lot of attention on him nor was he very showy. so taehyung kept things minimal.

taehyung cleared up all the toys, brought out the nice dishes that he might've stole from his parents' house since jungkook had boring ones, and ordered a cake and all of the younger's favorite food for the group to munch on while they chilled.

the older wanted jungkook to have a nice birthday party, he never really celebrated it according to jimin and him since he always had work or something more important to do, which made him sad.

so before they started officially dating, taehyung made the decision to throw the younger a nice party, one that he will actually enjoy. it would've been absolutely perfect if his boss hadn't pulled him this morning.

taehyung invited their general circle of friends, those were the only ones that jungkook liked, sans jisoo of course, the two hadn't made up still. jae, unfortunately at hoseung's place for a sleepover, but taehyung didn't think that jungkook would mind too much.

not with what taehyung plans to do tonight.

the entire thing felt so high school to taehyung, who smirked to himself as he finished cleaning up. today would mark two weeks since they officially started dating, not a super important milestone, but jungkook and taehyung were adults and they enjoyed partaking in sex.

the easiest route, was to keep things simple and wear his staple of black pants and a tucked in blouse to show off his perfect frame. but taehyung knew that jungkook loved it when he wore his dress shirts, loose fabric hanging off his slender shoulders and showing off his collarbones, tan skin for his eyes to roam.

fuck, why was he so indecisive sometimes?

the doorbell ringing pulled taehyung out of his thoughts and he freaked out, thinking jungkook was back from work already.

no dummy, why would jungkook ring the doorbell of his own apartment?

taehyung walked over, not looking through the doorhole, opening the door to a smiley jimin and hoseok. he breathed out a sigh of relief.
