Xan😍
Meet me outside the office building.

Vita😇
We don't have to do this

Xan😍
I already left work, I'm here. Move your ass

I love that Xandra disagrees with Kaine and wants to tell him off but jesus christ I don't want her to actually do it. If anything he's just going to hate me more after this and it's going to be worse. I was looking forward to this theatre class the most this semester and I'm going to fail it because the fucking professor hates women. No, he hates women who refuse to go along with what men say. If I were to keep my mouth shut I'm sure he'd tolerate me just fine, prick.

Xan😍
Now.

I didn't reply and now I just better run like hell. It's never a good idea to keep Xandra waiting. As quietly as I can I grab all my things and slip out of my English class. Its about to be over so I don't think my professor will be upset. Since the campus is small, the walk to the office building goes by quickly, and moments later I'm approaching Xandra. She's in her work clothes which consist of black dress pants, a deep purple blouse with a low yet appropriate neckline.

Don't look at her boobs. Don't look at her boobs. Don't look at her boobs. For the love of God, don't look at her boobs.

Just a peep. I take a quick glance then avert my eyes to the ground. Hopefully she didn't notice.

"Your hair is a mess." Is the first thing she says before attempting to fixing my ponytail. I never have time to do my hair so it's always in a half up / half down type thing. It's easy and quick.

"It's always a mess." I mumble, lightly smacking her hand away. She smacks my ass and we draw a few stares. I pull away from her and unintentionally yell, "Jesus Christ, why?"

I'm not in a good mood, but then again neither is she. I'm guessing she did that to be flirty, joking around to relieve my stress, but we're at my school. I don't want her being "mommy" in front a ton of college students, no matter how good she looks right now. Not only is that embarrassing, but I don't want to be labeled negativity by my peers for my sexual kinks.

"Just go." She warns, now irritated.

I would like to say, "well, don't touch me like that in public," but I know she'll just get angrier. Instead I lead her into the building, up to the second floor, and down the hall to Dean Chapman's office. His assistant is sitting at a front desk and Xandra tells her to notify him that we are here. She didn't ask, I'm just happy the threw in a please after.

We sit for about about ten minutes while I beg Xandra to let me just go to class. She ignores me the entire time and finally the door labeled, "Dean Dennis Chapman" opens.

"Ladies, come on in." He smiles from the doorway. Without a word we all file into a nicely sized space. "Take a seat please."

There are three chairs and the third one is occupied by Professor Kaine. Xandra sits and must have read my mine which was pleading with her to take the middle seat so I didn't have to be next to Kaine. Now that I think about it, she shoulda been in this chair because it would've lowered her ability to turn and wack him with her big-ass purse.

"Nice to meet you, Vita." He shakes my hand and then turns to do the same to Xandra. "And you must be Sandra..?"

"Xandra actually, with an X." she narrows her eyes and gets comfortable. "Xandra Tercek."

Dean Chapman's face falls to the floor before recovering with a nervous smile. As he takes his seat he glances over to Professor Kaine who doesn't look quite as terrified, but looks guilty as hell. Xandra is definitely is a force to be reckon with and they're just realizing that now? Even after her phone call yesterday?

"Tercek?" Chapman clears his throat and folds his hands together. "Like.. as in Tercek Technology and Communication?

"Exactly like that." Her smile is venomous and I'm so confused on what is happening.

"Well um, Ms. Tercek, It's -uh an honor to meet you."

"I'm sure it is." She rolls her eyes. "Tell me, typically when a professor disrespects a student in such a way, how do you go about handling it? When the student isn't associated with the head of multi million dollar company that donates and funds thousands of dollars worth of technology to your campus every year."

Tercek Technology and communication, also known as Tercek Tech, is in fact the leading technology company in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. It started nearly fifty years ago and has been of this high status for the last thirty-nine. Somehow, perhaps with me only living in this area for less than two months, I was unaware of that company status as well as it's director. Xandra Tercek is in fact the granddaughter of Alfred Tercek and daughter of Winston Tercek, the founders of Tercek Tech. After Winston's death four years ago Xandra took over as director and the company is stronger than ever.

"Well this has never actually been a problem before and-"

"I truly don't believe that Mr. Chapman." Xandra interrupts. "The fact that Mr. Kaine here so boldly assumed the authority to treat Vita in such a despicable manner and say, 'that's just the way it goes,' leads me to believe this happens too often and is swept underneath the rug." The Dean remains quiet then looks to Kaine. "Mr. Kaine?"

"Professor." He corrects.

"Alright, Professor Kaine then."

"Perhaps it would be in everyone's best interest if Desmond, uh, Professor Kaine, you just apologize to Vita."

"I certainly will not." Kaine scoffs.

"Mr. Chapman, I will have my people in contact yours about the immediate termination of my company's yearly donations. Let's go Vita." Xandra stands and heads for the door without a second thought.

"Wait, wait, wait just a second Ms. Tercek." Chapman jumps up to hold his hand in front of the door. "Maybe we could figure something out?"

"My company is associated  with many women's rights groups, activists, and campaigns that we have the right to being treated as equals. What does it say about my beliefs if I continue to fund a school that has professors telling students, one specifically connected with me, to sit down, shut up, and listen to him because he's a man?" Xandra's voice roar's through the office.

"And how exactly is Ms. Thomas connected to you?" Kaine speaks up.

"Ms. Thomas just so happens to be my girlfriend."

I'm what?

"Your girlfriend?" Kaine scoffs.

"Exactly. It was nice to meet you Dean Chapman, but we must be going now."

"Ms. Tercek, Ms. Thomas, I assure you there will be a consequence for Desmond's actions and we will not turn a blind eye to this. My team and I will have a meeting today to discuss and I will call you tomorrow morning. Is that alright?" Chapman has folded.

"I look forward to hearing from you."

Without another word, I'm dragged out by Xandra, who's fingers are now laced with mine. I have another class today, but I guess I will not be in attendance as my "girlfriend" is pulling me towards her car. Still frustrated, she opens passenger door for me before slamming it shut. Once she's in the driver's seat she speeds off without even fastening her seat belt.  As much as I want to say something I know it's in my best interest to stay quiet. I'm shaking, terrified, but also quite honestly.. I'm turned on.

DID YA'LL WATCH MRS. AMERICA BECAUSE I'D LIKE TO TALK ABOUT IT PLEASE AND THANK YOU LORD FOR MY ICONS. Also you may have noticed that Xandra is a lot different than how she originally is in Goldfinch. To clear this up: she has just "grown up" a bit and we see that specifically with her work. I completely made all this up because in Goldfinch she's a cocaine addict and works as a waitress, but that'll probably come into play later.
