Chapter 13

Ashley's POV

Eric whipped around and stared at me probably wondering why I talked so loud.

"What"he whispered. I turned to face him but didn't answer.

"What do you mean hacked? "I whispered desperately.

"I'm talking hacked like even brainy is locked out right now"max informed me.

"Does he know who it is? "I asked praying he did, I really want to break someone right now.

"Yes hoss but you're not gonna like who it is"max said. Was it the scorpions or some smaller gang trying  to prove a point, but it can't be one of the smaller gangs because brainy is an amazing hacker and for him to be locked out means the hacker must be high class.

"Who is it? "I asked finishing my test and writing all the answers in a paper quickly to give it to Eric so he doesn't kill me.

"Its..... "He was interrupted by brainy's voice and he said a name I hoped I'll never hear ever again.

"I'll be there in a minute "I said and stood up submitting my test paper before rushing out. You're probably wondering why I care about school, even I don't know.

I looked around as the car came to a stop. I turned to max and zombie.

"You know the plan right "I said and they nodded. They we're wearing tuxedos and I was wearing a black corselet and leather pants with a leather jacket and heeled boots. I looked at the club like place we were  entering again. i opened the door and we stepped out of the car and walked to the door but the bouncer stopped us. Max walked upfront and the bouncer nodded and let us in. We walked and saw that it was gambling night.

"There he is, the man whore "zombie said obviously disgusted. I looked at him and smirked and knowing zombie he acts as he pleases and we don't need to get him mad.

"Cool it zombie I'm going in"I said and walked up to the man whore as zombie calls him and took off my jacket standing close to him. His hand connected with my waist faster then I can imagine and pulled me to him.

"Babe what are you doing here? "He asked as if he knew me.

"I'm here to be your lucky charm but I don't think you need it"I said and he smiled.

"But I think I need a hot girl like you next to me"he said and rolled the dice and by the way they screamed I think he won. I rolled my eyes. I'll never understand poker.

"I see you make my charm more great when you're here"he said smiling as I found the key card in his pocket. I need to get it and soon.

"I guess"I said with a smile and he smiled back tossing the dice again and its followed by a deafening shout. During the shout I slipped his card out and slipped into my pants.

"Looks like you don't need me anymore "I said and picked up my jacket.

"Yeah I'm a charm on my own"he said and I laughed lightly  before walking towards his office. I slipped pass max giving him the key and taking the hoodie he gave me. We walked to the office together and I wore the hoodie.

"How do we deal with security without a fuss? "He asked. I pulled him towards the security and put a smile on my face.

"Mr Luther asked for your presence and quick you won't want to keep him waiting "I said. The security guy looked at me weird and ignored me.

"Oh well you don't have to believe me but can I get your name so I know who they fire when Mr Luther finds out you ignored Miss mcnulty and Mr Sylvester "I said picking at my nails. The guys looked scared for a minute before rushing off. I slipped the card in and walked into the office closing the door carefully with max standing outside. I put on my gloves and avoided sitting on the chair. I looked around with a special flashlight thing brainy got me and found fingerprints. Putting tape on it, I got the fingerprint and put it in and I was able to access the computer.

"Ok brainy I'm in talk me through this "I said.

"Ok. "Brainy said through the earpiece. "You need to access his files"he said. Brainy talked me through it and by the time we were done he figured out that the man whore wasn't guilty.

"Shit brainy seriously, we're heading back and I'll like an explanation you hear me"I said.

"Hoss we gotta go"max informed me and I walked to the door locking it.

"Let's go he's clean"I said to max and walked past Luther dropping the key card close to the foot. The bastard was too drunk to even notice. I walked with max and we met zombie in the car.

"Did you get it? "Zombie asked and started the car.

"No and also brainy what the fuck is wrong with you today , first someone hacked us now you got a wrong IP address. What is going on huh? "I said. The other line was silent like he was thinking of the appropriate thing to say. When he didn't say anything I decided to speak up.

"Get you head in the game"I somewhat yelled.

"Where the hell are you coming from? "I turned when I heard a voice ask me.

"What do you care? "I asked back and he smirked, the dark circles under his eyes making him look more ugly than usual. The only thing that made me grateful was that he never touched me sexually. He said I was too useless for that and judging by the way he looked at me I could already feel a beating coming. What surprised me most was I could fight back, I could beat him to a pulp. I've wrestled people bigger than him so why not? Why don't I fight back? Well that's something I could never answer. Maybe because his beating made me unable to hurt myself or maybe because I just don't want to who knows.

"I met no food on the motherfucking table this morning and all the hot water's gone. I don't have beer and there's shortage of food"he said in an angry tone. Wait who's the parent again? I just got back from lily's and I worked an extra shift to get my pay quickly. How did I even come from this motherfucker. The stairs creamed as my mum made her way down the stairs with a black eye and I noticed her limping. He already beat and rapped her, I knew it. I looked away from her back to Chris. He went to her and dragged her by the hair throwing her on the ground close to me, I watched. I lost all my strength I don't think I'll be able to chuckle or grimace when he's hurting me cause it hurts more to see my mum hurt even though she also hates me. I looked over to the broken clock on the wall, it said 5:30 pm. I looked back at chris and he's with a metal bat as he hit my mum on her arm and a sickening crack was heard as she tried to muffle her scream. Why she loves this madman is something I'll never understand. No matter what he does, she still claims she loves him. I watched as time slowed down and chris walked towards me. I felt weak, he knew my weakness and he just hurt it.

With a sickening smile he said"Next time I ask you a question, fucking answer me"he said and swung the bat at me, my arm making the same sickening sound my mum's did and I couldn't help it I let out a loud scream.
