Chapter 27

Ashley's POV

    "You've got to be kidding me "I screamed into the phone as I saw Eric jolt awake. I don't really give a fuck right now. One of our biggest nightmares just arrived and he could be roaming out there right now.

    "No I'm not ash but he got away we just got a glimpse of him"she said still breathing hard.

   "Are you sure its him you saw? "I asked wanting to be sure cause I couldn't take any risk. Maybe they saw someone else or they were mistaken, it had to be something.

    "Yes ash but why would he just come and disappear? "She asked me. I bit my lip, even I don't know why he showed up. I saw Eric come over to my side with a questioning look

     "Where the hell are you, send me your coordinates I'll meet you there in fifteen minutes"I said hanging up. I walked out of the house with my eyes on my phone awaiting her location.

    "What's wrong Ashley? "Eric asked me. I stared furiously at my phone and squeezed it slightly. I couldn't let him get away. The bastard needs to pay for everything he has done to me and the gang.

     "Ashley calm down the Parker's are out here and they're looking in this direction "Eric whispered to me, but I couldn't hold it in, I'll hurt someone if I hold it in and I don't wanna Eric.

     "Fuck"I screamed as I punched the tree close to my house, making a dent as the bark cracked slightly. I turned and saw everyone looking at me with wide eyes. My phone dinged and I looked down at it and saw that Sam already sent me her location. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.

    "Let's go Eric"I said and took his hand dragging him along with me. This has got to be one of my most unlucky days.

Its been a week since he disappeared and I want to find him and kill him but the commander refused. He ruined me, why won't they let me go after the bastard. I know if I sneak out, they'll find me and it won't be worth it if I get tortured because of that motherfucker.

   "Ashley"I heard, I turned and saw dad walking towards me. What in the devil's horns does he want now. I stood with my head high and my hands folded behind my back.

   "Commander"I called back with fake respect filling my voice.

   "You let him get away"he said and I shivered slightly. He walked behind me and stood there, only the devil knows what hell do to me now.

  "I tried my best commander but he was stronger than me sir"I said, trying  not to stutter. I felt him coming closer to me. Thank you academy for blindfolding us and attacking us for ayer so we can sense our enemies. He placed his hand softly on my shoulder and I kept quiet trying to figure out what he was doing.

   "You're my perfect weapon, no one is supposed to be stronger than you"he said as he tightened his grip successfully cracking my bones leaving my shoulder dislocated. I but my lip and closed my left eye as pain traveled from my hand to my head giving me a massive headache that made me feel lightheaded.

   "Your tolerance has gone up, you'd usually scream and struggle like the little pussy you are"he said and I could almost hear his smirk.

   "Take her"he said and I was strapped to a chair faster than I can think. I saw a man and a woman staring at me with psychotic smiles. I growled and tried to get out of the chair but water was poured on me making me slip back into the leather chair. I was soaking wet, I looked up again and growled at them. They smiled as I tried again to get out of the chair but I was pushed back with and electric rod as screams I recognized as my own filled the room.

   "Let the fun begin"the girl said. That was just the beginning of a long and painful night and also the beginning of my hate for him.

     I shook my head to clear my head from that awful memory as I frowned underneath my cap. They didn't let me stay, they said I'll go overboard so here I am in lily's serving people who could be dead the second that bastard shows his face again. Ugh this is stupid, I should be out there stopping him not here. I heard the bell at the door ring meaning someone just came in.

    "Good evening, welcome to lily's I'll be your server tonight"I said not even looking at them as I led them to the table nine.

   "Would you like some drink? "I asked finally looking at them. Oh great Wesley and his gangs with their girlfriends, oh great phoebe.

   "Oh I didn't know hoodie had a job "phoebe said as the girls snicker.

    "Just order"I said as they told me what they wanted. I came along with their drinks. Black coffee with sugar for Wesley, Jake and noah while Oscar asked for water and the girls had latte. I dropped their order on the table and phoebe 'mistakenly' poured half her later on me. I took a deep breath and smiled.

   "Ash, we got an order at table twelve"I heard lily yell.

  "On my way"I said. The restaurant is small enough for her to hear me, I don't even know why she yells. I served table eleven and went back to table nine to take their order. Phoebe was sassing me when we heard a gunshot. I looked over to the door and saw a gang in front of the door.

   "Get on the fucking ground"one of them said as everyone whimpered in fear and fell to the ground as they grabbed Eric and pointed a pistol at his head as he shivered in fear. I looked at their tattoos and snickered, snakes, trying to get high on the board by terrorizing people.

  "Hey you, get down"one yelled, I realized he was talking to me.

    "Get down hoodie, do you want to die or something? "Phoebe said as she tried to pull me down.

   "I'm already in a terrible mood, don't make me mad let the boy fucking go"I said through gritted teeth making sure they heard me.

    "And what if we don't? "He said confidently. I saw as max held his neck from behind as he shot the gun aimlessly making it go into my shoulder. The girls under the table beside me screeched. I hissed and flexed my shoulder making it hurt. I ran towards on of them kicking him the face and catching him before he fell. I kicked his stomach and pushed him into the one that shot me as I grabbed his gun and shut him in the leg. I stepped on the wound and he screamed making me smile in delight. I like this.

   "Ashley enough"I heard max say and I sighed and took my foot off the bullet wound looking at the blood filled sole of my shoe. I snorted and bent next to the guy.

     "Tell your boss that Rathaway did this to you and that I'm watching the snakes"I whispered to him as his eyes widened in shock and nodded rapidly, his friends carried him and they left quickly. I saw everyone in the restaurant breathing out in relief and Eric still shaking like a leaf.

   "Its alright"I said placing my hand on his shoulder. He breathed out and wrapped his arms around me.

   "So, what are you gonna do about Wesley and the others"Eric asked quietly.

   "Forget that, you never told me why you cut or why you were crying "I said.

  "Its nothing I'm over it"he said. I saw max come closer and rub my head, smiling.

    I'm glad they're fine but one question never left my mind, the one Eric asked me.

     What in the world am I going to tell Wesley and the others, I thought as I winced in pain as the arm I got shot got numb and I could see black dots. One thought crossed my mind.

     Oh shit, poison.
