Ashley's POV

    Its been an hour since I followed Wesley home and I've been thinking the same thing for the hour, what did he hear? I mean he came immediately after Sam and I finished our talk so he may have heard something right, or maybe he didn't or maybe he wants to know more before questioning me. At least now that I'm now in his house I can plant my microphones in here. Right now I'm in his room and he's been annoying the shit out of me, I mean who starts a random conversation and just ignore me when I answer.

    "Hey diamond come down I want you to meet my family"he called from downstairs where he went to get me a coke. Meet his family, its not like we're getting married or something but at least he trusts me enough. I went downstairs after taking off my hood, all my tattoos showing as I only wore a sport bra, I tied the hood around my waist and went down the stairs bouncing with each step. Emily was already at my house cause I called Eric and asked him to fill for me since Emily already knows him and she won't freak out if she sees him.

    "Is that her? "i heard as I turned to see the crew with Wesley's mum standing in the living room. I went down and smiled brightly shaking Mrs Parker's out stretched arm.

   "Hi I'm diamond, Wesley's friend, nice to meet you"I said still smiling.

    "Oh nice lady but what's with all those........ "She tried to say before Wesley cut her off.

     "Mum leave her alone"he said rolling his eyes.

    "No worries, if its about the tattoos I'd rather not say k"I said and his mum nodded.

    "Hi I'm Evelyn, this douche bag's sister "Evelyn said and smiled at me.

    "Hi diamond you can call me D"I said. She smiled and winked at Wesley. What's that about? I saw as their mum walked into what I presumed would be the kitchen.

     "Ok D and I are gonna go ok we gotta talk girl to girl"Evelyn said as he held my arm.

     "Hey I don't ever disturb any guy you bring home"Wesley said.

     "Yeah leave the poor girl alone"Jake said.

    "I agree I don't think she's gonna need your supposed 'girl talk'"Noah said with air quotes around girl talk.

    "Don't harass the girl she's the first girl Wesley is trying to protect"Oscar said.

     "I know, I know but Wesley has never brought a girl home and introduce her to us before"Evelyn said. Wait seriously, I thought he introduced Phoebe or any of his other friends.

   "Yeah but no need to kill the girl with questions "Noah said. The doorbell rang as we all looked towards the door.

    "Who's that? Are you expecting anyone? "Oscar asked.

     "Yeah hood's babysitting Emily maybe shes here to return her"Wesley said as he moved towards the door.

    "I don't even know why you trust that girl she looks like she's killed people"Jake said and I saw noah roll his eyes.

    "You're obsessed with movies jack"Noah said. Oh only if you knew Jake, you won't say that.

    "She'd do anything I ask of her and Emily said she feels comfortable and happy with her"Wesley said opening the door. There stood Emily and Eric who looked like he's been crying.

     "Here she is ok I'll get going"Eric said  in a raspy voice and turned. He didn't even fangirl over Oscar even though only me can see  it. Emily hugged Wesley and Evelyn and ran to the kitchen to meet their mum. I saw Eric turn as he started walking away.

   "Eric"I called as the crew faced me probably wondering how I know him. He turned to face me and his eyes widened as he saw me as he waved his way through Wesley and pulled me into a bone crushing hug as he shook slightly as if he was crying.

    "What's wrong baby? "I asked but got no answer. We have to go we can't talk here but we can at my house at least. Chris comes home tomorrow do we have no disturbance.

   "We've gotta go ok, I'll talk to you tomorrow ok"I said to Wesley as they all nodded. I picked up my bag which I never noticed before and I only managed to put up one microphone in Wesley's room. Wait who brought my bag from Wesley's room? Ugh Ashley stop slacking off, damn it.

   I picked up Eric and he wrapped his legs around my waist and his hands went tighter around my neck. This has to be serious, Eric will never let me do this to him, especially in front of his crush. I walked up to the open door and smiled at the family.

    "Bye guys, I'll come talk to you Evelyn I promise and I'll see you later Wesley "I said, probably to put more mics in your room. I almost snickered at the thought. Evelyn nodded and smiled and the other guys smiled at me and looked at Eric worriedly. I smiled reassuringly at them and Wesley came and kissed my cheek, well the one Eric wasn't pressed on. I saw as his family's eyes open wide as his mom came out of the kitchen, her eyes also wide. What's wrong with this family? I smiled at him and walked towards my house as Eric got a little heavier, he's probably fallen asleep. What's going on with him and why was he crying? He shouldn't have cried in front of him and I should have focused and noticed that my backpack was gone. Was Sam right? Am I slacking off? I put Eric down on the couch and pulled out my ringing phone, it said Sam so I picked it up and placed it on my ear.

   "Hey what's up? "I asked as she heaved through the phone as if she has been running.

   "What's wrong? "I asked my brows furrowed. Is she running or something.

    "James is back"she said breathing hard. My eyes widened as I held the phone tighter.

    "What the fuck did you just say? "I screamed into the phone as it felt like I could break the phone if I gripped it any tighter.

     She has got to be kidding me.
