Chapter 35

A/N: Hey guys its been so long, like three months long. But I'm back hopefully, I've been extremely busy but I will update alot before I'm busy again. Here goes the chapter.

Ashley's  POV

   Its been a week since Wesley introduced me to his family. He invited me again and I hated myself for saying yes, I'm letting myself trust someone again and I hate it. According to Danny, I've been doing more hanging out than actually finding out what the scorpions had to do with the sly bastard, but i'm gonna beat that system and try today and I won't stop until I find something. My phone rang and I picked it up without looking.

    "Hey"I said holding the phone between my shoulder and my ear so I can put on my sweatpants.

   "Hey Diamond I was wondering if you're still coming today. It'll really mean a lot to me and my mum"he said. I smiled and stopped myself. What, I like Mrs Parker okay.

    "Yeah I'll be there soon. Should I dress formal or.... "I trailed off.

    "No need, you could wear rags and you'd still look nice in them"he said and I found myself smiling again. This guy is a wizard.

     "Yeah I'll be there in ten minutes "I said and he answered and hung up.

  "How's the food? "Mrs parker asked me and I nodded twirling spaghetti on my fork.

   "Its really good ma'am, you're a wonderful cook"I said eating another fork full of spaghetti. The food was actually really delicious.

    "So Diamond where do you go to school? "Evelyn asked.

    "Um I'm taking a break from school right now cause I can't decide what I want to do yet"I said smiling. Why was it hard to lie in their face?

    "What do your parents do for a living? "Mrs parker asked. Wait, why are they asking me all this questions?

     "My dad is a businessman and my mum owns a restaurant "I said and scoffed inside. As if. If Chris was a businessman, hell probably beat up all the workers and rape all the women until he gets tired and blows the entire company up and if mum had a restaurant all the customers would probably go home high as fuck from crack 'accidentally' entering the pot of food.

    "Wow that's cool"Wesley said. I can sense something in the air and its making uncomfortable

     "I need to go make a call, I'll be right back"Wesley said and stood up walking towards the stairs.

    "You're gonna pay for this"I said as I shot the last guy in his head. This wouldn't have happened if I was alert and thank goodness I had my gun.

     "Diamond I....... "Wesley started but I cut him off.

     "Shut the fuck up before I put a bullet in your head"I said pointing the gun at him. He brought the scorpions to attack me that little bastard. He's working for the boss but the guy sent minions and not even great ones, I was done with them in thirty minutes with a bullet wound by my side bleeding profusely but at least I know he's working for the scorpions. I look to the side to see his family shaking.

    "I'm sorry, I had to they were going to take my mum"he said with guilt written all over his face, but I'm not falling for that bullshit, not again. I have a bullet wound and school tomorrow where he can pour all this anger on me. You know putting a bullet in his head sounds really tempting right now but I'm on probation with Danny, one more innocent kill I have to go to a bastard doctor.

    "You tried to get scorpions to kidnap m? "I asked angrily. He visibly gulped.

   "Um let me treat your wound"Mrs parker said coming closer to me and I point the gun at her.

    "Tell her to stay away or you won't have a mother anymore"I said.

     "Mom stay where you are and what was I supposed to do they're really powerful "he said pulling at his hair.

    "They're powerful, I'm a cobra and I can wipe out the scorpions if I want to"I said and I saw his eyes widen so much I thought his eyeballs were gonna fall out.

   "A... a... a cobra? "He asked shaking a bit. I nodded and his eyes got even wider, if that's even possible.

    "That explains the tattoos "he said with wide eyes.

   " A leader and you just messed with the wrong person. Watch your backs, your friends and especially your little sister, you know I threatened her before and I've cut up a lot of bodies, hers will be no different "I said with a snarl looking Wesley in the eyes.

    "You're gonna regret this. I'll make sure of it"I said walking out of the house smirking. Of course I wasn't going to do anything to them, Danny would kill me, but I love me a good scare.

   "Reporting commander "I said with a knee on the ground. I just got to the base cause I got a signal which the commander only uses when he has something important to tell you.

   "Ashley, my little Ashley"I knew that sick voice anywhere. I growled lowly and bowed my head further.

    "What do you want Chris? "I asked harshly and I felt my hair being pulled back harshly and I faced the cruel man who claims to be my father.

    "Such a harsh tone"he said clicking his tongue before smashing my head on the wooden flow making me woozy.

    "I heard you had a little party at your boyfriend's house and exposed who you are"he said in a sickly sweet tone.

   "I didn't mean to you fucker, it slipped"I said and he scoffed smashing my head on the ground again and placing his foot on my head to keep it there making it hard to breath.

     "You were supposed to be perfect, I made you perfect but I guess you just like to disobey don't you? "He said putting more pressure on his foot. I decided to keep quiet, its not like telling him I'm human too is gonna work.

    "You're such a disobedient little robot "he said and raised his foot from my head as two guys carried me and strapped me to a metal chair. I didn't struggle, its of no use.

    "So I decided to bring an old friend"he said and Dr. Joshua walked in with a sick smile and I felt a shiver run down my spine and a tear escape from my eyes.

    "Chris please I'll do anything, not this please "I pleaded as Dr. Joshua walked slowly to where I was strapped as u struggled to get out.

   "Come on boys let's go"Chris said as they walked out the room and looked the soundproof doors.

   "Please no"I screamed full on crying now.

    I have a feeling I will never see Mr. Flower ever again.
