Chapter 34: The Time Paradox

A/N: A little inspiration from the movie Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. Plus in this one, I thought it might be a way to put in Zuri's mother, Nzingha Ngola. Hope you like it.

Carmen's pov:

The team and I are at Central City, VILE was planning to rob the Flash museum and yes that does sound a little egotastic from Flash. KC and Kim took the east side, Zack, Peter, and Ivy are out front, Ron and Peter took the west side, Tigeress and Robin took the south side and I took the north side. I have a feeling that this VILE operative might be someone that has ninja skills. Player spotted someone heading to one of the exhibits where I'm at. I followed the tracker and that was when I spotted the thief but something was off about this operative.

This person somehow knew we were are under the masks, the person fights like Tigeress but was dressed as a lion. The person has a partner that fights like an assassin just like Robin. They were trying to steal some kind of sundial then they opened a portal and escaped. "Come on, we got to catch them." I said. KC, Kim, Ron, Robin, Tigeress, and I jumped through the portal but we weren't in Central City, we were in Gotham City. But it was different, it looked like Las Vegas took a vacation here. 

"I think we might want to find the league. Split up." I said. "I don't think we need to do that. I think I found Bruce," said Zuri. She was right, he was on top of a building called the Wayne Casino fighting someone. However, that wasn't the Batman that we know, this Batman uses Guns and he almost killed that villain. Whoever this Batman is, he certainly doesn't live up to the 'Justice not revenge' moral and the 'no killing rule' too. We need to figure out what's going on and fast.

We headed to the Wayne Manor or at least what was left of it. The place looked abandoned, no Bruce, no Alfred, nobody. It's a ghost town in here "What happened in here? Did a monsoon hit the place?" KC asked. We need to find the Batcave and the one good thing about this place is that the entrance to the cave is still in the same place. Though it didn't look like the Batcave that we know, it was dark and dreary. There were cards on a blackboard, a photo of the Wayne family, and hospital equipment. "What happened here?" I asked. 

Damian's pov:

This isn't my father, he would never try to kill anyone or even use dangerous weapons. Suddenly, I touched the picture of my father and my grandparents then I was transported into what looked like a painful memory. It was the memory of Thomas and Martha Wayne's death but something was up. This memory was different, instead of my grandparents getting shoot, it was my father. My grandmother Martha went mad and now grandfather Thomas mourned after my father and became the Batman. 

I was pushed out of the memory, we are in a parallel universe. This means that if my father was killed in this universe, he never adopted Grayson or Todd or even met my mother. "We need to leave now. Now!" I shouted. We can't stay here and since my grandfather is the Batman here in this universe, I would want to live to see my next birthday. We got unlucky when my grandfather saw us in his cave. We're dead meat "Who the heck are you?! And how did you get in here?!" he shouted. 

He attacked us when we didn't answer his question but we defended ourselves except Ron ended up with a sprained ankle. We told him that we were from a different world and for some reason, he started to trust us. He told us about this universe how Atlantis and Themyscira have been at war with each other. "Talk about a dark universe," said KC. We need to find those thieves and get back home. But this wasn't going to be easy, we need more help and so we split up to find the other league members.

Hours passed and we all joined up at what looked the old headquarters of the Organization "I think this place has seen better days." said KC. Almost all of the leaguers were different in this universe even Superman who didn't have his powers. "So we're all here. How do we find your little thieves?" Cyborg asked. Before anyone of us could say anything, someone attacked us at lightning speed. We know that wasn't Flash since he was with us "Long time no see gang, surprise to see your old friend." said the voice.
