Damian's pov:
The carnival wasn't that bad, I mean Zuri's taken me to a few of them over the past year. I was waiting for Zuri but Mimmi sat down beside me. "How's the new ring feel?" she asked me. It's fine. I just never knew the whole story about these rings." I told Mimmi. That was when Zuri, Raven, and Peter sat down beside us. Zuri and Raven had cotton candy in their hands and they each offered Mimmi and I a small piece. It wasn't too bad thought to Mimmi, she thought it taste like seafoam on a stick. "Mermaids have different treats in the sea than on land," she explained.
Peter made a bad joke about me living with the league which was annoying to the four of us. "I'll tell you something about yourself that not even you know. You may be insufferable but in your heart, you're a kind and generous soul." Raven said to me. Before we came here, I tried to find any background on Raven but there was nothing on her. She's like me and Zuri, we try to bury our pasts but they sometimes have a way of showing up again. We heard music and cheering over by the dance game.
Garfield and Jaime were playing the game, but for someone who has a bug attached to his spine, he wasn't that good of a dancer. Garfield beat him then when back to dancing, Jaime came over to all of us "Free popcorn on anyone you can slay the beast." he said. Zuri and I looked at each other then smirked. I volunteered to dance "You know how to dance?" Raven asked. "I'm a quick study. Plus Zuri and I always beat her brother at these games." I explained.

I beat Garfield, we both walked off but he was so tired that he couldn't stand. "Told you so," said Zuri. Raven wasn't with the group, that was when we saw her fighting three demons. We quickly changed into our hero gear then rushed over to help.

Carmen as Scarlet Demon
Carmen's pov:
Starfire and I rushed over to Raven and helped her up "They're demonic embassies, my father sent them." she explained. Starfire looked confused when Raven mentioned her father, she must have not known about this. The demons kept attacking us, not even Mimmi's magic could stop them. Raven used her magic to shield us from their attacks but it wasn't going to hold. Damian and Zuri did a sneak attack on them which stopped the demons from attacking. "Please tell me that they're undead," Zuri said to Raven.
"Yes. But you can't stop them, they're like batteries." Raven explained. We split up and took on the demons separately. I helped Beast Boy with his demon but when we were finished. We all regrouped to where Starfire was. "Damian said I know nothing about you. He was right, you told me that you didn't have a father," she said to Raven. She only said that he was gone but Damian told her that is wasn't the same as him being dead. "He's dead to me!" she shouted. "Why is he trying to kill you?" Zuri asked.
