I'm now doing the Son of Batman part of the book. I hope you enjoy it but fair warning this part may have a little violence. This is edited by crossoverLIFE19.

(A few months later)

Zuri's pov:

A few months after the soul rings made their mark on me and Damian, and I still wandered in Nanda Parbat. Missions with K.C. have been slow - our communication even more so. Sometimes, Damian tags along on our missions, and I always take the time to try and show him how to be a kid. However, with the rings comes the responsibility of helping Damian take over the League of Assassins. My training was doubled, though the many times Damian and I fought together led to the discovery of our former meet up. The mystery boy from the park; emerald eyes still burned into my memories. The thought still brings me to smirk; through the time we've worked together, I've won most of the rounds.

"Damian, the league will be yours and Zuri's to command. To make certain that the earth provides natural contents."

Ras' voice drags me from my memories, and I glance up to see him speaking with my soul mate. I move forward, standing beside Damian as we gaze over the training mass of assassins. We stand in silence after his command. The only sound that reverberates around the room is the clashing of staffs and the booming commands from some of the stronger members. Within seconds - the silence is shattered. The pounding echo of a gunshot resounds off the walls and, only seconds later, Talia's brother falls limp to the floor. His chest isn't moving and his eyes glaze over, his weapon falling from his grip.

"We've been breached! Get the children to safety!" Ras orders his daughter.

With seconds to act, Talia rushes over to us and we all leap over the balcony. I relish the way the wind encases my being but force myself into a roll under the stairs as my feet meet the concrete. The slits in between each step and the wide gap in which we hide are the only light source.

Talia's grip on my shoulders makes me turn to her, and the harsh glare she delivers is enough to hold my attention. "You two need to stay here." Her command rings in our ears as we watch her leap back into the fray.

Overhead, a helicopter's blade rushes through the air - cutting through the chaos as even more strangers drop into the scene. What was once a peaceful moment becomes a war zone as all hell breaks lose. Every moment I take to blink, another member of our league is on the ground - bullets pummeled into them and debris falling around them as the enemy releases their missiles. My gaze fixates on Talia through the maze of disaster - watching as she spins around both foe and enemy, bringing her weapon down on anyone she deems a threat. A crash sounds next to us, and I whip my gaze around. Just before the exit of our hide-away, another assassin lay with glazed eyes. Right behind him, a man holds his gun at us.

I glance at Damian, and he smirks back at me. With no time to blink, Damian grabs the gun from our fallen comrade and shoots down the enemy. The stranger's blood sprays on our concrete as he flays backward, collapsing among our brethren.

"Up for some fun?" He inquires, a sarcastic brow raising as he smirks back at me.

I pull my ray gun out of my purse, handy on me for every moment like these. "Bring it on," I say.

We both charge straight into the war, taking down anyone who stands in our way. With the extra hands, our assassins are able to take the time to shoot the pesky helicopters out of the sky. The fires that spread into the pitch-black night make everything seem worse. Its raging flames bloom bright orange and decorate our fields; it reminds me of the days I would watch the lightning during a thunderstorm. Another shot from my gun and another enemy down, I take a moment to assess the situation. Everyone that isn't fighting is laying on the ground, bleeding in steady streams.
