Chapter 16: Family Reunion

Kim's pov:

Zuri was still out cold from yesterday and Damian hasn't left her side. The Coopers stayed with us for a while but they wanted to help. They went out for a bit so that left the rest of us some time to find Deathstroke and Connie. Bruce connected Interpol to help with the search, Dick called us. "How's the prince and his girlfriend?" he asked. "Well, Zuri passed out when she found out Connie is her sister and Damian is staying with her. He ordered room service for themselves." Carmen explained.

Dr. Langstrom was relieved that his family was safe, he started to work on the antidote for the Man-Bats. The Coopers came back early but the shocking thing was that they already know about Zuri's leave to find her family. "How did you guys know about that?" I asked. "Please, I stuck around the Organization when KC and Zuri found the info they needed," said Judy. I didn't know what was creepier, the fact that my friend has a snake for a sister or the fact Judy can spy into people's business.

Kira: "Bruce, is everything alright? You look worried."

Bruce: "Deathstroke has Talia."

Kim: "What?"

Ivy: "But how? We didn't see her."

Bruce: "Langstrom's wife said there was another prisoner, a woman. I think Talia attacked the stronghold and got captured. I saw signs of torture in one of the cells."

Ron: "KC was taken out of our cell right before Carmen showed up."

Craig: "She must be with Talia then. But how are we suppose to find them?"

Kim: "That's easy. Just pretend they're discounts."

Craig: "How's that suppose to help?"

Kira: "Cause you're so good at finding those."

(Kim and Kira high five)

Craig: "Ha ha ha very funny." (Sarcasm)

Dick: "If this helps, I found an old oil platform that belonged to Ra's. It went active a few months ago."

Craig: "Where does this guy shop?"

Kira: "Craig, focus!"

Zack: "Hang on, you hear that?"

Ron: "I didn't hear anything."

Judy: "Took you long enough to figure that out. I saw Zuri and Damian sneak out."

(Rush to their room and see the window open)

Craig: "Oh sure, now you tell us."

Carmen: "Dick, where's the oil platform?"

Dick: "Near Scotland, off the coast. What is it?"

Bruce: "They're gone and they took their uniforms."

Ernie: "We gotta go after them!"

Dick: "Relax guys, it's 50 miles off the coast. What are they going to do, swim there?"

Peter: "I wouldn't doubt Zuri. She does have connections."

Bruce: "To who?"

Carmen: "It could be anyone."

Kira: "Let's just get them. And fast, we have to get Zuri home before her family finds out she lied to them."

(Jessie, Emma, Luke, and Ravi walk-in)

Jessie: "She did what?!"

Kira: "Jessie?! What are you doing here?"

Emma: "We know that Zuri isn't with you and the fact that she lied to us."

Ernie: "How did you guys know?"

Jessie: "Judy called us."

Everyone: "Judy!!!!"

Judy: "I'm programmed to tell the truth."

Kim: "Ok we have to get to Zuri."

Jessie: "Great idea. While you're at it, we are coming with you."

Bruce: "This is too dangerous. Deathstroke is a mad man, we'll get Zuri back."

Luke: "That's our sister!"

Ivy: "Really? Cause you guys weren't acting like her siblings!"

Ravi: "But we are."

Carmen: "Oh really?! Then where were you all when Zuri did her karate tournaments? Or when she wanted to know about her past? Or even try to get to know her better?" 

Emma: "But she always comes to mom and dad's galas."

Kim: "Because you force her to go. She only deals with it because she has to put up with the Ross family legacy."

Luke: "I guess we could be better siblings."

(Meanwhile)

Damian's pov:

The minute Zuri woke up, we snuck out of the hotel and headed to the oil platform. Zuri called up an old friend to get us close to the oil platform then we swam the rest of the way. We snuck inside the platform, Zuri knocked out one of the guards. We continued our way through the platform. That was when we saw Deathstroke take the elevator to another part of this place "Come on. If we follow him, we might find Talia and KC." Zuri whispered. We opened the doors then dropped down to the top of the elevator.

We were going passed the lower sea levels, once Deathstroke was out we followed him. However, two guards spotted us and we ran. Zuri spotted a dark corner with a vent then we went in. It took us to a hidden cave, inside was a Lazarus Pit 'Why would there be a pit here?' I thought. Right above it was a whole flock of Man-Bats, they didn't even move. "I wouldn't make any threatening moves. They'll stay put when I tell them to." someone said. We turned around and saw Deathstroke walk out of the shadows with Connie.

He was holding something under his arm. He planned on selling the Lazarus Pit's waters "Seems like your mother could use a dip." he said then revealed my mother in his arm. My blood boiled, he tried to kill her. "Where's KC?" Zuri asked. Connie summoned her snake and in its grasps was KC. "Let them go monsters, now!" I shouted then pointed the gun I had at Deathstroke. He pulled one out as well and pointed it at my mother. I was paralyzed with fear for the first time, I saw Zuri with a nervous look on her face.

"Now this is what's called a standoff. Not even the pit can bring back mommy if her head is blown off. Hand my daughter over to me, and I'll let them go. Daughter, you shall join me and your sister or watch the one you care about dead." stated Deathstroke. I can't lose my mother and Zuri can't lose KC. But I also can't lose Zuri, even though I never told her my feelings I still would feel lost without her.
