Previously last chapter: "Hand my daughter over to me, and I'll let them go. Daughter, you shall join me and your sister or watch the one you care about dead."
Damian's pov:
I trembled a bit then lowered the gun, Zuri saw me "I'm sorry beloved." I whispered to her. I couldn't do it, I couldn't kill Deathstroke not even if it meant losing my mother and my love. Zuri looked at KC then back at me "It's alright. We'll do it together." she whispered to me. Deathstroke was growing impatient and so was Connie who was about to command her snake when Zuri spoke up. "I'll go with you. Just leave Damian out of this," she said. He was pleased that Zuri agreed to joined her true family but something changed.
"You are such an arrogant little brat, so entitled, so bloodthirsty, so easy to manipulate. And yet you fall in love with my daughter who happens to be your soulmate. She was meant to be my apprentice, my heir, my weapon, and yet she came into this world with light in her. No darkness, no vengeance, not even a single bloodthirsty instinct in her. I thought with her friends gone she would go dark, yet that light never died down. I brought you both here, for one thing, to kill you." he stated as he raised his gun at both of us.
My mother woke up and jumped in the way of the shot, it hit her. "Protect him," she said to Zuri then laid stiff on the ground. Deathstroke started firing again, we ran for cover behind some rocks. He kept firing, the Man-Bats were screeching as they heard the sound "Are the Man-Bats cheering?" Zuri asked. "Sounds like it," I said. That was when KC pulled out a snake charm and paralyzed Connie which meant she can escape. But then, we ran out of cover "We are done. It's a shame really, you would have been the perfect heir, daughter." said Deathstroke.
He was just about to shoot us when someone knocked the gun out of Deathstroke's hand. My father came out of the vent along with Carmen and the others. Deathstroke ordered the Man-Bats to kill us but my father used the same trick Tigeress used before and they flew. KC got out of Connie's snakes "I never thought I would you see you guys with the Batman himself and his partner Robin." she said. Zuri knew she would have to explain to her partner later but right now, we have to stop Deathstroke.
He was making a break for the exit, I saw one of his swords on the ground 'He'll pay for killing my family.' I thought. I picked it up and ran after him, I heard my father call out to me but I didn't stop. "I'll end him, I swear it!" I shouted.
KC's pov:
So after I almost became a new chew toy to Deadly Viper's snakes, I was lucky that my team was here. Zuri had a look of fear in her eyes 'She loves him so much.' I thought. I told Zuri to go help Damian, she was willing to protect her soulmate and stop her father. Kim and Carmen took Connie outside while Batman, Peter, Ron, Zack, Ivy, and I stayed with Talia. "Is she alive?" Ivy asked. "Barely. Deathstroke tormented her in the compound, she was very weak and losing blood fast. I did the best I could but the wound she has now, it may be too late." I explained.
The only thing that can save Talia now was the Lazarus Pit "Let's hope this works." said Zack. Batman scooped Talia into his arms then he lowered her into the Pit. The waters began to heal Talia, she ended up screaming in pain then passed out in Batman's arms. They both walked out of the Pit "Did it work?" I asked. Talia woke up and smiled at Batman "I knew you would save us." she said. "I haven't yet," Batman answered. Talia then pulled Batman into a kiss 'There's something you don't see every day.' I thought.

Suddenly the cave started to crumble and shake "Guys, get out of there! The whole place is gonna place!" Wade shouted. "Just once I wish the bad guys' lair didn't have to blow up," I stated. I just hope Zuri and Damian are ok.
Zuri's pov:
I followed Damian after he ran after Deathstroke, I just hope that I'm not too late. I saw Damian looking around for Deathstroke until he saw me. "What are you doing here?" he asked me. "I'm helping you. Besides, I can't let you have all the fun now can I." I said. I drew out my claws then both me and Damian looked around for Deathstroke. That was when we heard him "Ra's trained me to take his place. Talia would have been mine as well, till your father came along." he stated. "Then created something special, me," said Damian.
I saw him try to attack Damian "Behind you!" I shouted. I caught the sword with my claws and pushed him back "No one hurts my soulmate." I said to him in a venomous voice. We fought hard, Deathstroke ended up getting one of his knives into Damian's wrist. He screamed in pain, then again when Deathstroke used another one. Damian pulled out the sword and charged straight at Deathstroke. The place started to become more unstable by the minute "Oh great. Another lair ready to explode." I mumbled.
Damian and Deathstroke were still going at each other. Until Deathstroke knocked Damian's sword out of his hand and kicked him down on the floor. "This ends now boy," he said. I flipped in front of them, then did my Tiger Back Kick to knock the sword out of Deathstroke's hand. "I couldn't agree more. (Punches him in the face) That's for what you did to my mother, you monster!" I snapped at him. I then charged straight at him and scratched him with my claws deep enough to draw blood.
No one and I mean no one harms my friends, family, or soulmate. We both kept fighting until Deathstroke backed me up into one of the pipes and held his sword at my throat. "You have been taught, well daughter. But now this is where your luck ends here!" he shouted. "You call it luck. I call it skill!" I shouted then spit in his right eye. He backed away then I started to get the upper hand. I got a hold of one of the swords then pinned him down to the ground. "Go ahead and finish me. It's what Damian wanted, what Ra's wanted, what Nzingha wanted." he said.
I couldn't kill him, despite the fact he killed my mother and Ra's, along with almost killing Talia and KC, I'm nothing like Deathstroke. I left him laying on the ground covered in claw marks and slashes from Damian. I ran over to Damian to help him get out of here "Just hang on, we're almost out." I said to him. We finally reached the water but there weren't any boats or so I thought. "Need a lift?" Zack asked. We both jumped onto the boat and got away just in time "Talk about cutting it close." I said.
Afterward, Talia agreed to let Damian stay with his father then she walked over to me "Your mother would be very proud of you Zuri. Keep an eye on Damian for me, will you? He needs someone like you to help him." she said then left. And now for the biggest challenge, facing my family. Of course, they ended up being there as well but after Damian convinced them not to be mad at me. Luke decided that he was going to be a better brother to me from now on, and so is Ravi. Carmen, Zack, and Ivy ended up staying with me, my parents didn't mind.
This is only the beginning of our adventures.
