Chapter 30: The Superboy

KC's pov:

Now that my family and I are back in the Organization, I can finally be back on the team and have Zuri as my partner. However, something was still bugging me, that boy that saved me when Raven and I were fighting the Jackel. He looked a lot like Superman but smaller. We did see him again, it was during a visit to Mako Island. Since I got back on the team, we decided to make Mimmi an official member. Along with Zac since he and Mimmi are siblings. Mimmi told me about the truth behind the soul rings. 

Even I was surprised, I didn't even know that their rings could do that. So we decided to head to Mako Island for some much-needed rest and relaxation. Zuri even convinced Bruce to take a break, after all, the Batman deserves a break once and a while. Even Diana and the teen titans are coming with us "Wait a second, who's paying for the trip? Cause I'm not wasting any money." said my dad. "Relax. I'm paying, Mr. Cheapskate." Zuri joked. We headed to Australia, Kim and Ron finally got back from their cheer camping trip and they were meeting us there.  

Kim and Ron were already at the hotel, Zuri scored us the presidential suite of the hotel with a beachside view. "How much is your allowance?!" Jason asked. "Please, me and my siblings clear more per week than the mayor himself. Plus I don't spend all of my allowance in three days." Zuri explained. That made Dick and Jason look at her then back at Bruce "You're raising my allowance." said Dick. We started to unpack our stuff in our own rooms. Well, except for Kori, Dick, Zuri, and Damian.

"Hang on, if Mako Island is all the way out there, how are we suppose to get there? We can just fly over there," said Jaime. "Which is why we are going to swim there," said Mimmi. Most of them looked confused but we knew what she meant by swim there. Before I was kicked out of the Organization, we came to Mako and the mermaid along with Zac taught Zuri and Damian some spells. One of them for their rings was that they can transfer the powers of being a mermaid and merman to other people. And that meant us. 

We got our stuff and headed to a special spot on the beach where Ondina, Evie, and Cleo who is another mermaid. "So, ready for a swim around Mako Island?" Cleo asked. Mimmi has all of us standstill except for Garfield then she, Zuri, and Damian started the spell. "This isn't going to hurt, right?" Jaime asked. "Relax, Damian and I have done the spell before so you'll be fine," said Zuri. Soon after they cast the spell, Mimmi told us to just jump into the water. The second we all dove into the water, the girls had orange mermaid tails and the boys had blue merman tales.

"This is so awesome! And not just because we're able to breathe underwater," said Jason. Mimmi and her pals showed us the way to Mako and the coral reef there was beautiful. Even the scarab on Jaime's back was calm. We were just about to head back when Sirenna found us and said that someone is trying to get to the Moon Pool underneath Mako. She said that it was a boy and he is flying over the volcano. We followed Mimmi to the other entrance to the Moon Pool, the boy was floating above us.

Zuri: "Wow, you were right KC. He does look like a smaller version of Superman."

Ondina: "But why is he here?"

Carmen: "We can always ask him."

KC: "Unless he can talk without shooting lasers at us then that is never going to happen."

???: "I can hear you. And I don't need super hearing to hear that."

KC: "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the planet."

Beast Boy: "Nice one."

Zuri: "Ok, I think you two could join the Joker on a comity act." 

KC: "Right, fair point. Oh great, I've been hanging around Peter too much."
