When He's Jealous

Hello fellow people in love with 2D characters ( ˘ ³˘)♥ I meant to post this yesterday, but I had a bad day and it reflected in my writing :/ Oh well, we need bad days to appreciate the good ones. So, let's get on with it!

(Y/n) POV

I watched as Oikawa laid down onto the couch and aggressively snugged his giraffe. We have a jealous one here, don't we~ I smirked to myself before following after him. He gently set the giraffe down and rolled onto his stomach, smushing his face into the cushions.

I sat crisscrossed on the couch next to his outstretched feet. Sensing the dip on the sofa, Oikawa lifted his head and looked at me with half-lidded eyes. I was coming up with something smug to say, but a voice across the room distracted me. Benito's voice, to be exact.

"(L/n)-chan, come on, get back here!"

I swiveled my head around towards Benito only to turn back around when I heard Oikawa immediately sneer back.

"Cork it, Benito. She's talking with me right now."

My eyes widened at his sass. "Hey, you booger, what was that?"

Oikawa pouted, "...I don't know what you're talking about... And for the record, I'm not a booger."

I raised an eyebrow and tickled his feet, "Yeah? Well, you're definitely a little snot~"

"No!" Oikawa turned, and he pulled me down next to him. I giggled on the down, and the fluffy-haired boy proceeded to hold my squirming body close to him. I finally settled down and contently laid on his stomach with my head propped up. Oikawa dropped his arm down, picked up his giraffe, and spoke to it, "why do all my friends love to tease me?"

I rested my head onto his chest. "You're just fun to tease, Oiks," I huffed. Oikawa hummed an unconvinced 'mhm' before resting his head back down and running his fingers through my hair.

"How was heaven with Benito?" Oikawa prodded.

"Well, we sat in a hot closet, and we talked about school. So I guess you could say it was life-changing."

Oikawa's eyes lit up at my answer. "High five for keeping 7 minutes in heaven a holy game!" I sarcastically rolled my eyes before giving him a high five. "Let's watch the rest of the game," he smiled.

"You're the one who stormed off here in the first place," I retorted as I sat up.

"Who's to say I wasn't leaving to get you some holy water?"

We walked back over to the people playing the game and rejoined the circle. After a few rounds, it was Oikawa's turn to spin the bottle and find his pairing. Great, now it's my turn to be jealous over a person I'm not even dating... yet.

Oikawa grabbed the bottle and spun it. I anxiously watched the bottle spin for what seemed like forever. Finally, it started to slow down. It got slower and slower and slower until it stopped: ON IWA. HELL YEAH.

"I have to go in there again?! I was just fucking in there!" Iwa barked.

Oikawa deadpanned, "why does this always happen when we play this?"

While I was busy celebrating in my head, Matsun and Kokoro shoved the two boys into the closet, and Benito stuck a chair under the doorknob to lock it shut.

Although we couldn't decipher any solid words, we heard them bickering. After their 7 minutes were up, I removed the chair, and they practically threw themselves out.

"That was the last round!" Oikawa barked.

"Yeah, I'm done!" Iwa added.

I chuckled at their annoyed remarks, and everyone agreed. Soon enough, our need for sleep took over, and everyone found places to sleep whether it was on the group or one of the couches. Oikawa went upstairs and brought down blankets too. I took a spot on the floor, and Oikawa laid near down a few feet away from me after making sure everyone at his house was alive and okay.

For the rest of the night, we all participated in those classic 5 am conversations that make no sense but always end up being extremely funny in the moment due to everyone being half asleep.

The next morning, we all headed to a breakfast diner to feast before we all dispersed back to our homes. Unfortunately, we had to divide into separate booths. I sat next to Benito with Kokoro and Matsun. Oikawa, Makki, and two others sat in another.

Sometime during our breakfast, Benito casually rested his elbow on my shoulder. I wasn't even aware of it until Oikawa came over and rested his hands on each of Benito's shoulders as a way to have him retract his arm from me. Oikawa played it off by asking him how is omelet tasted.

I was genuinely surprised at how jealous Oikawa could get. I wonder how far I can push it.

Oh my god im sorry this is so short, but it's 6 am, I haven't slept yet, and my brain is turning into mush. I'll update tonight!
