(Y/N) POV

The following morning, Friday. I had breakfast again with Daichi and his parents. They soon after helped me pack all my stuff to haul me back home due to my impromptu puppy babysitting emergency. Once I was home, I unpacked, checked in with Oikawa and Iwa to make sure they could come which they can, took a shower, ate lunch, set the alarm for 6:00pm, and took a nap. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with one of my random jolts of anxiety, so I just slept it out. The usual.

When I awoke from my nap, I stopped my alarm and walked into my bathroom to change. I put on a pair of dark grey sweatpants with an oversized navy blue hoodie. It is what it is. I was still feeling a bit overwhelmed, so I decided to wear comfy clothes.

Luckily, we have two cars, and my parents took only one to Tokyo. I climbed into our second car and checked my phone before pulling out.

I set my phone down before heading to the animal hospital to pick up some puppies. On the way there, the song that Oikawa and I sung to on our way to the grocery store to make cookies came on. As those memories filled my head, I smiled and hummed along. I soon reached the animal hospital. I parked in the front near the entrance, and when I walked inside, the lady at the front desk greeted me: "Hi (L/n)! It's nice to see you again! You are getting so old and tall! I look forward to seeing you more often now that you and your family moved here."

I smiled and leaned against the counter, "Thanks! It's nice to see you too!" I totally forgot her name. Why do I suck at names?! " Um... are the puppies here?"

She nodded and let me to the back. All of the in-hospital kennels were filled, which is why they couldn't just stay here. She led me to a back room where there were three crates: two crates had 3 puppies while the other crate had 2 puppies. "Are you sure you can handle all of them?" The lady asked while she picked up a crate, and I picked up a second. Another lady came in the room to pick up the third crate.

"Yes! I have a couple friends coming over to help me! My car is just in the front se we can put the puppies there." We walked outside and put the puppy-filled-crates in the second row of my car. As we finished loading my car, my phone went off

Incoming call from UNKNOWN NUMBER

I waited a second before answering. "Hello?" I then silently thanked and waved off the two women before making my way towards the driver's seat.

I was relieved to hear a familiar voice: "Hi (L/n)! Its Iwaizumi! Tooru gave me your number since he is also on the phone with Kokoro right now."

I closed my car door and buckled up, "Hey! What's up?"

"We got here a little early, so if you see a random car in your driveway, It's us," he responded.

I looked behind me to make sure the puppy crates were secured before answering. "Oh-you guys can just come inside, there is a key under the tiny concrete snail on my porch. What's up with Kokoro? She okay?"
