5. Chitrangada

Satyavati gave birth to two sons, Chitrangada and Vichitraveer. Chitrangada was a very powerful warrior. He had defeated many kings and demons in his rule. He handled Hastinapur after Shantanu died. Everyone was happy in his rule. However, the king of Gandharva attacked Hastinapur. So, the king's throne was vacant and Bhishma used to take the important decisions.

The problem arose when the king of Gandharva, Chitrangada had killed the king of Hastinapur Chitrangada and imprisoned Vichitraveer and Vichitraveer didn't know how to fight. Yes, the name of the king of Gandharva was the same too. He was always living under the protection of Bhishma and Chitrangada.

So, Bhishma came and rescued him. He was soon married to Ambalika and Ambika. However, after a few days of coronation, he died because of poisoning and died, leaving the throne of Hastinapur heirless.

Satyavati called for her son, sage Vyasa. Now, understand this. This sage has meditated so much that his aura has increased till the extent that he can understand things going on till the eighth dimension. He knows the entire universe, the past, present and future. He is understanding what is happening all over the universe. People like him were the reason why Vedic astrology was developed. He didn't have a normal birth. Let alone his mother's vagina being looser after childbirth, she didn't even lose her virginity. So, he was really an important part of the things happening around him. He could understand what is happening all around the world. That was how powerful he was.

So, it's not a miracle that he impregnated Ambalika and Ambika without being physical with them. The problem was that, maybe the energy got out of control and a maid got pregnant too or maybe it was intentional because then, this would help with the war of the Mahabharata too.

Ambalika gave birth to Dhirtarashtra, a blind son, Ambika then gave birth to Pandu, a healthy child and the maid gave birth to Vidur, a really intelligent child who was despised by everyone because he was the son of a maid, except Pandu. This was the next step towards the war of the Mahabharata...
