Duryodhan got angry when the Pandavas had won against Drupad but he and his brothers couldn't and moreover, they were just five but they had still won. So, he planned a palace with Shakuni and Karna and made a Lac palace. He told him father, "Pitashri, I have built a palace for the Pandavas and Kunti chachi (aunt) for congratulating them on their winning against Drupad.
He posted some staff there to help them with their daily chores. Before the six of them go, Vidur senses that something is wrong and tells Yudhisthir to be careful and vigilant. Hearing that, Yudhisthir becomes serious and nods. The Pandavas and their mother Kunti leaves for the Lac palace. Yudhisthir and Kunti looked around the palace, carefully observing anything that could be dangerous. Kunti went to the kitchen and looked at the knives and everything and made sure that there was no weapon there.
They made sure to let the servants eat the food before they ate it and at night, they were digging a secret tunnel in their bedroom for fleeing purposes and Kunti made sure that no one heard them or visited them. This way, after some days, the servants suddenly deny to have food before them. So, the Pandavas and Kunti act like having there food while they threw it away and act like they had fainted because they had discussed this thing earlier. They would either mix a sleeping powder in their food or poison and they would faint either way. So, it's better if they act like they have fainted. After they act like they have fainted, the servants run around and start applying fire to the walls of the palace.
When the Pandavas saw what was going on, they tied all the servants down and left them in the dining room and escaped the palace through the tunnel. It was the perfect plan since there were five male servants and one female servants for cooking and they would be burnt beyond recognition.
So, the Pandavas and Kunti take a ferry and decide to reside in the forest in the disguise of Brahmins. However, near the lac palace, Vidur and Bhishma are crying for the death of the Pandavas and Kunti and when Krishna comes to know of all this, he forgets everything and travels all the way to Hastinapur to see the last remains of his Pritha aunt. Yes, Kunti was the sister of Vasudev, Krishna's father.
Then, Krishna closes his eyes and smiles when he finds the vibes of the Pandavas and their mother in the nearby forest. That's what he had thought. The Pandavas were needed for the Mahabharat, after all, Draupadi has born today just for them...
I will continue with this book since I feel like I don't know about Krishna's childhood and also why he didn't marry Radha and I will delete that other book. Thank you.
